Maryjo is an amazing person through and through!! This woman has a heart of gold and has been a huge help in my custody case. I'm so glad to have someone who genuinely cares about representing me. I can't recommend her enough! If anyone needs help with fighting a case, don't think- go ahead and hire her!

Needing a lawyer is always a stressful time, and you want to make a good choice. I can say that from the first day I talked to Maryjo Zweig, I was comfortable with the ultimate decision to engage her and her firm. I felt confident that she understood me, and listened to my concerns and addressed them as they came up. She was compassionate and sensitive, and when I needed a tough person to help me see clearly, she was there. Maryjo was my advocate, even when I wasn’t prepared to be. Maryjo didn’t leave any issue open to my being taken advantage of, and fought for what was fair. We avoided going to court, despite the fact that I had a high value divorce with a very un-cooperative, and abusive spouse, to put it mildly.
Her expertise and experience were invaluable, and she was professional, ethical and fair.
Steve was very helpful in technical business matters, and Cathy was a great support during a 13 hour mediation. I would recommend them all without reservation.

Maryjo, Steve and Cathy were very tough, thoughtful and compassionate attorneys when I needed them most. I went through a very lengthy and litigious divorce, all three were the perfect combination in what was needed to complete my divorce. Maryjo was the point person for my divorce, all three are excellent I want to be clear. In court, Maryjo was an excellent litigator, which is what I needed. She would be only person I would want if I had to go to trial again. Steve was the person who scoured the details and the depositions finding all the extra details we needed for court. Cathy guided me through several tough meditations. All three are excellent, and they all have different approaches. I absolutely recommend this team, and I would use them again if needed! Maryjo, Daniela, and the rest of the Zweig law team did an absolutely incredible job with my case - resulting in an outcome so positive, I didn’t even consider it a possibility going into it. The outcome of the case left me speechless, shaking, and overwhelmed with gratitude — and this couldn’t have happened without their impeccable leadership throughout this experience. But more than the work that the team did, Maryjo and Daniela truly cared about me, my case, my well being, and my mental health. As an out of state resident, I felt powerless. I had little understanding of Colorado law, the consequences, and the implications of the case. Not only that, but I also have never had any first hand experience with the judicial system in any capacity. Maryjo and Daniela came to me in a time of need with compassion, empathy, and leadership in a capacity I have never experienced before. Between the late night calls, weekend emails, and multiple appointments, this team addressed every single one of my concerns and more. It was as if I was talking to my own mother — the care and empathy were absolutely unmatched. I could not recommend this team more for whatever your legal concerns are. Maryjo and Daniela completely redefined the “stereotypical lawyer” and rewrote the script. I had never felt more welcome, cared for, and comforted. Wish I could give zero stars, these are not good people. They care about profit not the law definitely not people, also this is a woman with an ego. If you engage with this law practice, all the decisions will be made by Maryjo. You can only sign the checks, no questions could be asked. Persuasive and deceiving advice, just for getting you to pay for more hours.
Do not go to her if you want a better life and a better relationship with the other parent after the divorce!!! She does NOT care about your children.

I had the misfortune of going through a 2-1/2-year long, high conflict divorce that included a custody battle, relocation with children, and a criminal case against me brought on by my abusive ex-husband. Early in the proceedings I had hired Denver-based attorneys, thinking their big-city experience would help my case in Summit County. That was a huge mistake, and I fired them mid-divorce proceedings. I hired Maryjo Zweig for the divorce and Cathy Cheroutes for the criminal case. They worked in harmony with each other and me to overcome unbelievable odds. I was able to relocate away from Summit County with my children, even with a pending criminal domestic violence case. Maryjo Zweig crafted an ironclad parenting plan that covered every tiny detail that could possibly come up. Cathy Cheroutes worked with me and the DA to ultimately dismiss the domestic violence charges. These attorneys are incredibly intelligent, aggressive, and above all compassionate Summit County locals. I wish I would have hired them from the beginning of my case. I strongly recommend Cheroutes Zweig for Summit County divorce, post-decree and criminal cases. I am eternally grateful for the legal representation that allowed me to pick up the pieces of my life and move on to happier times.
