Robert Wood handled a business litigation suit for me between my former employer and my company. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and sharp. The other side had an arrogant, bully of an attorney and Robert put him right in his place, professionally and took charge of the matter. We always knew where Robert stood, as he counseled us on our options at each stage of the suit. The other side offered a settlement which was substantially more than what we were willing to pay. By the end of then negotiations, Robert had the other side begging for less than what we were originally willing to settle for and ultimately had them dismiss their case altogether. No settlement. No new contract. No concessions.They were forced to dismiss their case. We could not have prayed for a better outcome. I would definitely recommend him for anyone in need of representation for any kind of business litigation.

Wow what a waste of money! If you want a contract explained to you like a child by an “annoyed adult” this is your guy! All he does is quickly review your non compete and tells you what you already know. What’s worse is that he reviews your contract WHILE you’re in the meeting! Way to prep Mr. Robert!

Throughout the whole process of being sued, Robert was a real winner. He does not settle for anything less than a win. Being sued unexpectedly by my last employer for a non-compete was very stressful, but Robert was able to handle things in such a professional way that it was calming. Through the whole process, I really got to know Robert and he has so many characteristics that it really makes him stand out from any other attorneys. He is competitive, knowledgeable, caring, and the attorney you would want. I would recommend him to anyone. You also need to try his hot chocolate if you ever visit his office!

I am extremely pleased with Robert Wood at Lindquist, Wood and Edwards, LLP. I first contact him to get some advise on if I should hire counsel for a legal matter and he provided me with direct black and white advice which is precisely what I wanted.
