This is by far the worst utility company in all of Colorado. How does it make sense that you cannot transfer the water utility and bill to a potential tenant? “It’s just our policy”. Overcharged on water usage and late fees even when you pay on the due date. If I could leave a negative star review this is one of the only places I would

Their software doesn't allow renters to set up a payment arrangement. But their software has no problem taking my money and charging me ridiculous fees. This is absolutely ridiculous tenants have rights you should really update your policies. Now the terrible rating makes sense. If I could I would give 0 stars.

A very much want to thank Linda for spending 20 minutes on the phone with me working on getting my online account set up correctly. That was very considerate of her. I've so far read the comment "I wish I could leave 0 stars" on this review page over and over again. Allow me to share those sentiments, due not only to it being exceptionally difficult to reach anybody in their office, but due to ILLEGAL PRACTICES such as turning off your water without notice. Not only is my water bill paid in full, but under the Consumer Protection Act, the bare minimum time to give somebody a notice before a shut off is 10 days (and then again three days beforehand), AND through December if you cannot reach somebody at home when you're there for the termination of the service, then they are due another 48 hours of protection.
Again- we paid our bill. The screw-up is on their end. But the fact that it is the month of December and they shut off our water with absolutely no notice or communication and now CANNOT BE REACHED TO CORRECT THEIR ERROR has left us without water for 27 hours and counting.

I'm pretty much on same page as others that think bill is too high for the actual water usage. Also I saw a comment about water hardness and was wondering if the water company could improve the water quality? Maybe that's why it seems kinda hard to have a garden here and grow things. Lastly why are there transaction fees no matter how you pay online? Other utilities I use don't charge transaction fees if you pay with bank account & routing number. Why do they seem to nickle & dime us for everything?

Absolute joke of a water company, the only one I have ever heard of that will not allow auto pay for renters (you have to manually pay each month). Their excuse is that the refuse to allow anyone but the owner to create an account, even if you're added to the account they don't allow autopay. Every other utility company I've ever been with in 4 different states allows this, maybe try to figure it out.

I didn't get a bill for 2 months. I used to live in what is called Colorado Springs, only about a mile away. However I bought my house in what is known as fountain, I went from 3 bills to 8 bills! It's been difficult to keep up with all eight bills. The water company does not send the bill on time. So it's hard to keep up with them, then they turned services off without so much as a phone call or a disconnect notice. So I was behind 2 months when the current bill charged because I didn't get a bill. All of a sudden now I own $300 for water! $100 per month is insane. No options, wish they would have told me this when I bought my home. I would have lived somewhere else.

Considering how expensive their water is, one would expect that it'll be well -treated. It's EXTREMELY HARD WATER!!!!. I've never seen anything like it. I spend a lot of money buying CLR or anything that would keep the calcium deposit . I cave in and got a water conditioner and filter but it still isn't enough. Had to replace the dishwasher and washer and now the water heater due to build up on a fairly new house. Too bad I can't sue them for this😬😬😬
