Russ is the neighbor and handy man I truly believe everyone needs. No matter what I’ve gone there for propane tank fill, U-Haul rental, low coolant top off, or an RV purchase. He has always greeted us with respect and honesty. Willing to help and if he can’t, he has a great recommendation. I’ve never had a bad experience for anything we’ve gone to him for. Saddens me to see a few bad reviews given all my interactions with him and staff over the years. I will recommend Russ without hesitation and will continue to do business with him because of his integrity.

I took my truck for an alignment and they told me I didn’t have a cam/cast kit on my truck so they had to install them to do a “proper” alignment. I was quoted $99 + the cost of labor and parts for the cam kit. They called me at the end of the week to say it was done and my total was almost $600!!!!!!!!! Supposedly they had to do 3 alignments because they couldn’t get it right and then of course they couldn’t explain the price breakdown to me. I took my truck to an ACTUAL shop in town and the shop proved that Westcliffe petroleum installed the parts wrong! They couldn’t have aligned it with how they installed the parts backwards. Not only did the other shop fix their mistake but for half of the price and with better quality parts. When we went to pick it up from Westcliffe petroleum my grab handle was broken and I was told “my tech doesn’t weigh 100 lbs soaking wet so it had to have been broken before”. They didn’t even try to make it look like it wasn’t broken and then of course couldn’t fix it. The owner was no help whatsoever after showing him proof of how bad the alignment was from his shop and how much it took to correct it AND having the cam bolts in hand with the cam bolts his shop installed incorrectly (washers were flipped around and installed backwards) This place is such a scam, do not make the same mistake I did and take your vehicle here because they can get me in sooner. I should have known the reason they had time to see it so soon was because everyone knows what crappy work they do. D &W services is a much better shop and they can actually show/explain the work that needs done and aren’t afraid to stand behind it. I have attached my receipt from Westcliffe Petroleum and then the picture of how bad the alignment was off and the invoice saying they installed it incorrectly provided by D&W. I will push my truck down Main Street with a flat tire before I ever pull into that “shop” again. 😊These guys should stick to flat tires and oil changes, glad they can find their way through that service.

We have lived here for nine years and the owner if this place is an a--hole. He is rude and unpleasant. He walked right by me 3 times and helped people who had come in after me before he even acknowledged I was there. I was there to rent a small trailer. I got upset when I was told if I paid in cash, it would be twice as much than if I put it on my credit card. I uttered the f word and was told that if I didn't 'calm down' I could walk out. We have attempted to use this place in the past and have ALWAYS left feeling ripped off. They have a couple of employees that are nice but avoid this place like a plague. That jerk that owns it doesn't deserve your business.

The "GO TO" garage in Westcliffe and Custer County in general. Tires, brakes, or anything suspension related they repair at a very reasonable price. They will go above and beyond what you'd expect for a tiny two bay garage in the middle of nowhere....and customer service you don't find too often anymore! Thanks guys!

Wanted to give a shout out to Eric and the staff at Westcliffe Petroleum. Excellent service! I arrived at their garage with a flat tire on my way out of town. They immediately took my car in and diagnosed the problem as a screw in my tire. They quickly patched the tire and got me back on the road! Honest shop and quick courteous service. Thank you!

So I stopped in to get a quote on tire sensors on my truck and they quoted me $500 so I called around and found that people do it for around 150. Please don’t waste your money there and yes very rude.
