I moved here from Memphis over 10 years ago and my experience in this city has been fantastic, especially with the local administration we have here. City Hall is kind and helpful and the services the municipality provides in general are top notch and all about serving the community.

Please disregard all of the reviews from people that are getting political about and isolated incident that happened several years ago. Not once since I have moved here. Have I seen a walnut Ridge police officer pull somebody over without them doing something extremely stupid or reckless to make them justify the stop. For the most part, this is a very relaxed town with very little going on in terms of drama with awesome schools. Don't let a bunch of political activists that have never been here skew your opinion just because they saw a manipulated video posted by some cop block website make you think this is a bad place.

This is one of the nicer areas in the region with very little prime and extremely friendly locals

They say shop in your home town but it is hard when you receive treatment like I did today at our local Walmart. Went to the auto service department, when I entered there was a couple ahead of me. I over heard one say to the other looks like we will be here for a while. All along one of the service tech was starting at the three of us like I wish you all would leave. No one said, we will be with you in a moment are anything else but just staring. So I left and went to the Walmart in Pochontas where they showed they were happy to have my business. So the next time you complain about people not shopping in their home town maybe you need to look at how the business are treating the potential customers.

i refuse to open a business in this city now after hearing the chief of the station response to a complaint against an officer, even being 100 miles from this whole city would make my business and name look bad, be warned business owners, even associating with this city will hinder your name because of this department. it shouldn't take $57,500 to have a whole city and their forces to “serve and protect” to admit they are wrong
