I paid my fees up front to start my bankruptcy case 3 months ago. My case was marked as time sensitive and forwarded to their Emergency Department. The attorney who my case was assigned to quit, and they had no process or procedure for her cases to be handed off. My case sat idle with nobody looking at it or the documents I sent them for months- meanwhile every time I called and asked for my attorney i was just told “They’re not in the office”. My case wasn’t started in a timely manner and still hasn’t been filed, and now my creditors are harassing me and trying to repo my car because I stopped paying all of my creditors on this office’s advice.
Nothing short of ineptitude.

Michael Reid and all the others who helped me with my case are fabulous. Never rushed but always prompt with answers to your questions. When I started the process with them, I was still recovering from multiple surgeries and a month in the hospital and my thinking was not always real clear. They not only put up with that, they were able to figure out what I was trying to say--I'm very impressed.

The intake process was very smooth and judgement free. I started Chapter 13, but only had paid my required deposit by payments and then decided to pull some investment money and just pay all debt. I emailed my attorney letting him know and asking how to proceed. I also called and advised the receptionist and she said I was ok to pay my debts since nothing had been filed with courts. A woman named Brooke called me 5 minutes after I hung up. I missed the call but attempted to return her call 4x that day-no voicemail. 10 days later I email my attorney again-this time a little snarky. He responds immediately telling me Brooke will be reaching out-that is it! No apology for not responding for 10 days. Didn’t bother answering my question. Brooke called and emailed me. I let her know I was at work and I would call when I got off. I did-NOW SHE HAS VOICEMAIL. I left 2 messages that day and one the following. Still haven’t talked with anyone. So my point is, they act caring when they sign you up, but have fairly poor customer service when you actually need to be advised. I have paid $1800. Granted they contacted my collectors but I think that $1800 could include a few questions answered as well.
