*Edited after 1st owner reply* - *My sibling* hired Van Dyke Law in 2022 to be represented as a Trust Beneficiary. My siblings and I all paid for the service as we are all a part of the (fairly simple in our opinion) trust, so I feel responsible to share our story. At first, the team was great and the "onboarding process" was efficient. However, this changed rapidly. *The* attorney, Vincent, was irritable and slow to respond. He took over three months to write one "objection letter" that was sent to our Trustee's attorney. After four months and one objection letter sent, Van Dyke Law requested yet ANOTHER $10,000 retainer to continue the case without being able to tell us specific details about what to expect moving forward. We felt uncomfortable and did not move forward. The team, rightfully, stopped working on the case. He (we) never received *detailed* invoicing or documentation of the work done or hours for the *$15,000+* spent with the firm. (We estimated $1,250-$1,750 per page for the two letters) and in our OPINION the letter(s) sent was a majority template letter. I recently asked the firm again to update me with any documentation from past work as we are seeking assistance again and comparing pricing. Of course, there was no reply. Although it has been two years, my family and I still feel mislead and taken advantage of by this firm, as out of state clients who trusted them remotely with large retainers. In addition, this firm has not responded to us about invoicing details but only took 4 hours to respond to this review.. on a Sunday.

Van Dyke & Assoc. are the most experienced attorneys I've found in the area of trust and estate litigation. While many firms are capable of writing wills and trusts, litigating them is a whole separate skill. I have been extremely happy with their ability to strategically approach a case and fight for an inheritance through some very difficult circumstances.
