I tried contacting the municipal court about my speeding ticket. The lady on the phone was very rude to me, offered no other information except the price of the ticket and very rudely told me that if I speed (even though it was very minor and it was due from the speed limit dropping from 65 to 55 quickly) that I have to pay the price. I want to contact someone about financial hardship, but it seems this county doesn't even care about their Alabama citizens not being able to pay the fine. I am in another state for an internship and cannot go to the court, but they are still charging me for the court costs. Any help in this matter would be appreciated. My review is for the terrible experience that I had speaking to someone on the phone and being rudely talked down to with no help offered.

Had a similar experience to the previous reviewer. Pulled over for speeding, didn't even see the speed limit sign behind the cluster of signs. Officer pulled me over and refused to talk to me about anything. Accidentally gave him the wrong insurance and he gave me a ticket for it and told me I could fax in my current insurance, wouldn't let me correct the mistake. I had tried to pay online and it keeps saying ticket not found. I tried calling them and I keep getting the fax sound and the one time I did get a hold of someone, the person was very rude and refused to talk to me as well and said I had to come in person and that there was no fax number. All and all, does not make me want to visit this town EVER.
