I live in Casa Grande about 120 miles away, we have a lot of stores here Fry's, Safeway, WalMart, Food City but the meat and milk products are very expensive here in town.
About 20 years ago when coming back from Payson I came back the long way by way of Roosevelt Lake it's longer but a lot less traffic that Phoenix has, anyways I stopped at Tonyo Basin IGA and was wandering around the store and found a lot of steaks that I thought was on sale but the guy at the meat counter said that that was there normal price I found a package of boneless ribeye steaks with 4 in the package for $4.99 for the package so I bought 10 packages or wiped them out of those ribeyes, plus I found several full racks of beef ribs for only $3.97 each bought them all. Now the moral of this story is for prices like this 5 -8 times a year I will drive the 240 miles round trip to stock up on meat beef steaks, pork steaks, pork sausage, bacon and Shamrock Milk is cheaper there than here. My son in law will drive there more often than I do. I gave it the IGA a 10/10 and would give it a higher rating if I could.. thanks Rocky P. From Casa Grande, Az.

Lots of supplies and food! Big parking lot, and every gas pump has a gas and diesel nozzle! My one complaint has nothing to do with the business but to whoever was driving this tesla shown in my picture, why the heck you parking in a gas pump spot! ?‍♂️ SMH

This is probably the only gas station you will see in the area by Roosevelt Lake. It's on the left hand side as you drive away from the lake. There's plenty of pumps and the station is pretty big compared to gas stations I've seen. The pumps were all working.
There's also a mini grocery mart. You can just pay for gas, or you can walk around and buy some food. They have frozen meat, deli items, juices, water bottles, water shoes, etc. They've got it all. Very nice store that is well-stocked.
I had a great experience here. The checkout was quick and easy as well!

I love this store. Everyone has smiles and go out of their way to help. The meats are fresh and taste great, the eggs are delicious and the produce is amazing!
I was looking for cream one day and asked a manager. They did not supply just cream (in the carton to make my own whipping cream, butter,etc) at the time I asked. The manager said that I was the second person to ask recently. About a week later I was shopping again at IGA and they had cream next to the coffee creamer. That is AMAZING customer service! Thank you IGA! You are my favorite grocery store! I love that a well stocked Ace Hardware store is within the IGA store. It’s a one stop shopping experience.

I would give a zero but Google does not allow a zero star. Just bought a drill that the batteries are no good and tried to return within ten minutes of buying, but the store will not take the drill back. They stated that it is a warranty issue now and is not their problem ?. I asked to speak with the manager but the Manager is off for the next 7 days. This was really poor judgement from the store employee. I've spent well over a grand in this store buying materials recently and would have continued to spend a grand a week there but I will take my business elsewhere now.

To clarify, the batteries WERE USED and old. Obviously someone put old batteries in the box. When I showed the employee at the counter, that's when it was stated that they could not do anything cause it was a warranty issue. This is why I don't trust small town stores. They rip people off with no remorse.

Very friendly and have some great deals on groceries. This store has a gas station and an Ace Hardware inside. They have a cafe with great food in back of the store. A little of everything can be found here including alcohol, fishing items, lottery etc.
