I would highly recommend the Thompson Von Tungeln Trust and Estate Lawyers in Santa Clarita. They have a convenient location in Valencia and that is where we attended their
Living Trust seminar which was very informative. We decided to hire them as our trust attorneys. The process included an initial consultation with Sonia Lee, a certified trust attorney, who provided advice and collected all our information to establish the trust. We then received a rough draft for any changes and then we came in to sign all the documents. The lawyers and staff were extremely competent and professional.

After relocating from out of state to Valencia, California, we needed updated estate documents and wished to put our home in a trust. We were drawn to Thompson Von Tungeln due to availability of lawyers Certified as Specialists in Estate Planning & Trust and Probate Law. They are also knowledgeable in setting up Special Needs Trusts. We attended a free introductory group Estate Planning and Asset Protection Seminar led by Jong Lee, JD and appreciated the up-front transparent fee structures and detailed explanations, including some answers to complex taxation questions. We later met privately with Sonia Lee, JD, and our documents were completed within the month, including paperwork for the title transfer of our home. We had the chance to read over the drafted documents, make two changes, and have them signed and notarized in the office. We received two copies of the original documents, as well as e-copies. We appreciated the detailed notebook of instructions for successor trustees and the availability of their Successor Trustee Training Workshop, which I will attend with my daughter.

We thank Sonia for the detail-oriented work she did for us and the piece of mind we now have that future events will proceed as we wish. We highly recommend this firm of Trust and Estate lawyers.

After many years of dithering, we finally decided to formalize an estate plan and trust. We wanted an estate & trust law firm with a multiyear track record and several experienced attorneys, which would hopefully still be around for the next 15-20 years. We also wanted a firm with a local office to conveniently deal with, not online or over the phone or a long commute for meetings. Thompson Von Tungeln offered a local, free seminar to explain estate planning and trusts, which we attended and immediately felt confident that they had met all our requirements. We then retained them to set up our estate plan and met with firm partner Sonia Lee, bringing all the documents that were requested in their meeting preparation list. All of our questions were thoroughly answered, and how our various financial interests needed to be properly set up for our designated heirs, as well as providing our designated estate trustee with the authority to manage our finances and health, were we to become incapacitated or incapable. Within a month, all of the required documents were completed for our final signings, and we now have duplicate sets of the complete estate plan: original in our fire safe and a binder copy in our bookshelf for reference. They also provided a binder with specific instructions for our trustee, to use at such time when the trustee's services are required, hopefully in the distant future! We now have some peace of mind that our heirs will avoid probate, and that our trustee will be able to fulfill our wishes and legally handle our own end of life issues.
