Attorney Roderick Woods has been a godsend! He was able to help me out better than I could’ve imagined after running into some financial issues resulting from caring for two family members with major chronic illnesses for the past 10 years. I called for his free consultation and I could tell right away that he was really smart and had good ideas. I was floored that he responded to my emails quickly and on Sundays! He even found time to call me while driving to court for someone else’s case because he had information to share that he felt could not wait. His dedication is really impressive. Prior to contacting Attorney Woods, I had paid another attorney for an hour consultation and had waited a while to hear back when setting up the meeting. Fortunately, I did not take her advice. When I was sued during the pandemic I reached out to Mr. Woods to help negotiate a settlement, and he responded quickly and professionally, and negotiated it for a flat fee. Best decision I could have made, because despite the fact that I had a payment record, and a ironclad agreement in writing, they attempted to report my settlement as a partial payment.
Once I saw it, I emailed Mr. Woods, and once he had the details he said he would sort it out, and he did, not once asking for additional payment. It was clean, professional, and a really good look in these tough times.

Mr. Woods helped handle a situation that arose with an aggressive debt collector that contacted me by phone about a debt that they claim I owe, even after I sent them a certified letter (after their initial contact by mail) disputing the debt and requesting no additional contact. Attorney Roderick Woods is an expert in FDCPA matters. He took the time to research an issue for me when no other attorney I contacted would. I was frazzled by notification of a lawsuit from a debt collection agency, in fear they would seize funds from my bank account. It was a pleasure working with Mr. Woods on a credit issue. I had a pestering collection agency that refused to work with me and continually demanded payment without going through my health insurance. They reported to my credit and my health insurance company even reached out to try to get them to fax a bill so they could pay it and resolve the issue. They resisted my insurance company and I but were no match to Mr. Woods. Within ONE day of sending them a notice the remarks were removed from all credit bureaus and communication has stopped. Thank you so much for your hard work. I truly appreciate it.
