After my mom passed away, I had the privilege of working with Attorney Amanda and her Paralegal Krysta, and they were nothing short of incredible. Amanda assisted us with administering my mom’s trust. Initially, it appeared the trust would incur significant expenses if handled by a trust company. However, Amanda’s meticulous review and detailed understanding of the trust allowed her to find a way to achieve all of my mom’s goals while saving the family a considerable amount of money.

Our situation was far from typical, but Amanda took the time to develop a thoughtful and detailed plan that aligned perfectly with what my mom would have wanted. This was deeply important to our family, and Amanda’s dedication and expertise made all the difference.

Extremely friendly and frustrating. Worked with this law firm for many months, paid them $30,000 plus as my case involved litigation. Was told that even though I had done nothing wrong it’d be cheaper to settle than pay them to pursue the case. This went against all I believe in. After mediation was settled I was told that the first retainer paid to finalize the closing of the estate would more than enough. It wasn’t. I was told “my bad”you owe us more money,”after being assured that the second additional retainer was paid would definitely cover closing costs of the estate, it still wasn’t enough. I was billed a third time. My response, I said,”I’d had enough”.I was then informed that we can’t give an exact dollar amount to close the estate. However, after two payments which I was told would be more than enough, I was billed yet again. Enough was enough, as I was told a third retainer would be needed to close the estate. Unethical behavior by the law firm, specifically Brandi Jackson. Even after reading all the positive reviews , this law firm received I felt compelled to state my situation. If you want “nice people “to represent you, then this is the law firm for you. If you want a law firm that backs you up when you’re told you’re right, find a different law firm. I was told that “what’s fair doesn’t matter”.A lesson learned that the only winners are the attorneys, $30,000 plus for $1488 in math mistakes made by me Registered a complaint with the lawyer ethics committee to be told that even though what happened to me bordered on unethical , it had to be an extreme case of malpractice before anything could be done Hmmmmmm. Really? .

I did an intake evaluation and the firm didn't call me back. That is simply unprofessional. Revision based on response: I am not a bot, nor am I confused. This is also unprofessional to blame the potential client. I don't understand this at all and now you are just being insulting. I called your office about a contested will. The person that answered the phone wanted to know about the case in order to present it to an attorney for considerstion. A layman might call that an "intake evaluation". Either way, I spent 15-20 minutes on the phone and never received a call back. I found another firm to handle the case, but I felt a return call was warranted. I am sure your firm is fine and something fell through the cracks. However, I am definitely not confused and I am most certainly a human that deserved a call back.

Update #2 Why would I pay to speak to a receptionist about potential litigation? Why would she ask so many questions about the case if it wasn't some sort of "intake evaluation"? The same questions other law firms rightfully asked and called it an "intake evaluation". You are playing semantics. I wanted to know if your firm would take this complex of a case before I paid to speak to an attorney. No other law firms i spoke with had issue with that, nor should they. Not sure why your receptionist wasn't able to get through to me. Other law firms and other people had no problems getting in contact with me.

Amanda seems nice and competent. I wouldn't really know about the quality of her legal work because she didn't accept me as a client. Unfortunately, she declined to work with me because I was previously a client of another attorney for whom she used to work. It would have been nice if she had told me about that before I drove 35 minutes to meet with her.
