I was debtaing San Joaquin County or San Mateo County since I had back to back summons (probably due to voter registration). I picked SJC due to free easier street parking.
Pro tip: Free 10 hour (9AM-6PM) free street parking on Weber (west of Center Street). It is only 2 blocks away. I didn't want to deal with parking validation. The other spot I used to street park was Center Street next to the Cesar Chavez library but I think the street parking has changed there.
When you walk in the superior court building the 2 left lines are where to go through for security screening (metal detectors), the right most line (I think) is for existing jurors and SJC staff.
Jury reporting is on the 12th floor. I did see elevators on the 2nd and 3rd floor. However, due to the paranoia of elevator malfunctions I took the stairs. There are 2 sets of stairs.
The judge, the bailiffs and the DA were all outstanding and professional. They were cognizant of our time and keeping everything flowing smoothly. Had 3 breaks as well.
Also if you want to get out of jury duty, look up jury nullification on youtube.

One of the nicest buildings in Stockton inside and out. Got to serve jury duty. Great staff. Very interesting to be in the courts deciding on a case. Judges are awesome too. Great views of the city!!

Ive seen this small family court division go from a small buliding in the worst part of Stockton downtown to 8 story Building by the Sonic and 7 11. They have made me and my child suffer through 10 years of unstable and questionable court hearings. I went from over nights to not seein my daugher or talking to her for 2 years. They make so much money bringing us back to court over and over and charging us for parking , filing fees, coffee shop, . Just the revenue from attorneys and there local taxes on 400 dollars an hour. God know's thats how they went from that tiny ghetto building to the fourth floor of the biggest building in town. Whats best for the child is not alienating parent from child for no real reason other then to support the growing Lawyer pool and fill the court docket every day. The unresolved continuing cases seems a means to an end of Bankruptcy
for Stocktons Gothem like past. It seems with only revenue as a goal the rich get richer and the poor lose the rights to see their own children. With little Justification or proof of guilt we arent innocent unless we can pay someone alot of money to prove it. Due to case misrepresentation and unfair practice instead of truth Justice and the pursuit of happiness instead we lose the only thing we the poor have. Our Family. If you experienced similar case history please visit my family court watch group on Facebook and share your experiences in order to share strategies and level a one sided playing field where 90 percent of family Law cases are handled alone without representation. Lets use our gathered knowledge to help reform a future that includes our children. FIND ME @ P.A.P.A. People Against Parental Alienation.

Judge Danielle Y. Ramirez is a humiliation to the justice system. She let abusers out of the court room without a scratch on them but let the abused continue living in fear. She is apathetic and soulless, which is clear in the way that she speaks to everyone. She told me to simply not interact with my abuser, as if it is that is realistic, as if it is that easy. She repeatedly victim-blamed me as well as others in the courtroom. “Why didn’t you…” “How come…” She does not deserve the power that she has. She is clearly not fit for her position and should be replaced.

Judge Danielle Y. Ramirez denied me a restraining order because she believed the person who I wanted to get a restraining order on (who lied under oath) and who tried to attack me with my daughter in my car. This judge hardly let me speak because she kept cutting me off, and then let the defendant talk without interrupting her. This judge also told me that she felt like I was the one lying . I tried bringing up past abuse that this person brought to me AND my baby (she put bruises on my daughters face (2022); keeping my daughter from me in one instance where she would not give me my daughter back after asking her multiple times; trying to force me to abort my daughter in 2021; attacked my mother which I made a police report about in 2022; & so many, many more instances) & she said she didn’t want to hear about it, but accepted some old text messages that the defendant printed out and brought from 2 years ago (2022) & from before October 2023 (this was the last month I texted the defendant) and told me that she believes the defendant loves and cares about me just based off of these old messages from BEFORE the incident.. UM, this person tried to ATTACK me with my daughter in my vehicle ?! This person also verbally abused me and my daughter’s dad that night prior to trying to attack me. The witnesses of this incident are her sisters and brother who are all afraid of her . She fought one of her sisters already & I don’t know about the rest. Her brother didn’t even want to come to court and testify because she threatened him before court. The judge also said she doesn’t believe i’m in danger because of how long I took to file for a restraining order and I tried explaining to her that this is my first time in court. I was in and out so many times asking where to go, what to do, about the process etc. Also I was afraid. Some people had told me not to even try to get one because what if the defendant retaliates and really harms me or my baby. Also, I was living in Lodi at the time so I wasn’t really running into her thank God. But now I’m in Stockton, living minutes away from this person who tried to hurt me. I moved to Stockton in May and in May is when my original court date was. The judge told me that these were not valid reasons as to why I waited so long. She said “someone who is in danger does not wait this long” but I did a quick google search and it says “there is no time frame that you have to get a restraining order. If you feel that you are unsafe, you can get one at any time.” After the judge dismissed us, I walked outside and the defendant was laughing at me & her mom was calling me crazy while I was crying. Taunting me. 3 days after the court date, they messed with my home which I had to make a police report about. If I knew that you could lie under oath without any consequences, I should’ve too. The court system is corrupt, inhumane and unfair. Not just this judge either, the fourth floor has workers who yell and scream at you for not knowing certain things & now I know. They don’t care until people are de*d & now I understand why Stockton is so bad. They’re enabling these offenders to walk the streets and harm more people. I’m bringing awareness to this situation now and I hope many people read my story. The people who you’d expect to help keep you safe do not care about your safety. I have God though and He is our protector. Never come here .

I tried to explain my case to a lady named "kayla" but she didn't let me speak and whenever I speak she keeps interrupting and I beg for a min to talk, when I ask again if she allows me to talk she hung up on me, terrible attention, the people hardly have empaty there.
