I can speak highly of Merita Rice from my amazing experience , who helped my husband obtain his green card . From the moment we first met I knew she was the lawyer for us !! She was kind, understanding and incredibly knowledgeable about the immigration process. Merita walked us through every step of the process, making sure we understood all the requirements and deadlines.She’s was always available to answer any questions we had and provided us with regular updates on the status of our case.Through out the entire process Merita was incredibly patient and responsive to any issues that arose.she was a true advocate for my husband fighting tirelessly to ensure that he was able to obtain his green card in a timely manner. I can't say enough about my experience with Ms Rice through the probate process of my father-in -law's estate. She was extremely professional and patient. She carefully explained each step and what I needed to do and provide. She was very detail oriented and followed up promptly on all questions and issues. She communicated the legal fees clearly ahead of time so I always knew what to expect. I would definitely recommend Ms Rice for any probate needs and I will certainly work with her again if the need arises.

My experience with the Rice Law Firm has been nothing short of stellar. Ms. Rice has a genuine concern for her clients. If you are searching for an attorney that makes you feel like a person and not just a case, she is the one for you!
She is very, very detail oriented and had a methodical approach to filing paperwork that was very simple to follow and complete. She is very well informed on current immigration laws and she is always readily available to answer questions. I honestly can go on and on about her. She is amazing and got my case the best results. Being new to Houston, when my mother passed away, I had to find a probate lawyer in the area to help me with the estate. I chose Merita Rice, PLLC, for several reasons, one being that I try to support women in business whenever possible. Ms. Rice was so professional, candid, and well-versed in all aspects of Probate law. She was completely upfront with me about what the legal fees would be and why. She was prompt and proactive every step of the way and I always felt she was paying close attention to our specific needs. She spent time to show my husband and I what we needed to do on our end, and she gave us clear options and recommendations for how to streamline and simplify the entire process. I will most certainly work with Ms. Rice again if I have any further Probate needs and I highly recommend her to anyone in the North Houston area.
