Robert Cohen's office is very inviting and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I worked with him in the capacity of him being the lawyer in charge of my parents' trust and distribution of assets. Unfortunately, with my family, the process was not smooth due to many family members being greedy, making fraudulent claims on the estate, and other family drama when money is involved. For this reason, I hired my own attorney to keep me distant and be a buffer with this whole trust and property distribution experience.
Looking back, my attorney was not really necessary because Cohen and his office were very professional and really did their EXTENSIVE due diligence in researching and distinguishing fact from fiction in this case. He and his office were very fair and explained/ documented in detail all transactions that occurred during the process. Even though he was NOT my individual lawyer, he had ALL INTERESTED PARTIES’ best intentions in mind and really worked hard to clear through the fog to find what was real and what was fraudulent regarding the trust’s allocation of funds. I feel satisfied after reading the very detailed last document of the distribution of the trust funds and DO NOT feel swindled out of my share. I wish I could have had Cohen as a lawyer during this process because the attorney I hired was very uncommunicative and really dispassionate with me/the case, I believe due to it not being a "big" payout for him. I have always been very distrusting with lawyers from past experiences and even due to the one I hired for this case. Nevertheless, Cohen and his office really seem to be very compassionate and have integrity and a passion to uphold the law no matter the client's financial status. In other words, they really strive to be professional and do a great job of being fair to all parties even when it is difficult. Thank you, Cohen and staff, for your help with my parents' estate. I feel that their wishes were upheld and that they will continue to be at peace due to the resolve of the estate.

Last year when my mother in law pasted away unexpectedly. She had a lot of assets that we didn’t know about and we didn’t know where to start. I found Robert by Googling probate lawyers local to me. He not your typical lawyer. He and his office are very casual, friendly but professional. To be honest not what I was expecting from a lawyer. The day we first went in it almost seemed too good to be true. Being a pessimist I was very cautious. But he met every expectation and then some. He handled the probate flawlessly.

We needed to find my mother in laws assets he knew a guy. We needed to set up a trust he knew a guy.

So everything we needed he handled or referred us to someone. I can’t say enough about how happy I am to have found him and his staff. They made the whole process as painless as possible.
