I am writing this review for my father n law. His experience with the Perla Law Firm was phenomenal. The price was reasonable. Mrs. Perla and her staff are exceptional and on top of everything. They keep in contact with you for everything, double check with you on everything before you meet for the final signing just so there are no mistakes. And, she helped us with a couple things that we didn't expect help with, which was greatly appreciated. A thumbs up all the way!

I was very displeased with the service from this firm. I asked them to help me file the final accounting of an estate as I had already done everything else myself. I gave them a retainer of $2000 and was told I would get refunded any difference. Instead I was charged an extra $800 before they would file. This may not seem like a lot, but it was one step of the process and everything was done through a paralegal who had an attitude and very poor communication skills.
I had to find out what was going on with the process myself by checking the probate website. I was never given instructions from the firm on the process or even when it was ok to disperse funds. Only thing I got from them was a letter from the court stating the file was closed. I didn't pay that much money to have to contact the court myself to get answers. Really wished I would have just done the paperwork myself.
