Once upon a time, there was a 19 year old boy who traveled to North Korea. He took down a propaganda poster. As he was leaving the airport, the North Koreans tapped on his shoulder and his life was over at that point. When I think of how KC and his attorneys go after tenants for what they think is claiming justice, I think of this young man. In my case, they filed 6 years after. Interesting how the complaint is absent of any dates.

They don't answer the phone, they've got politicians so deep in their pocket that they automatically win cases, I didn't even get a chance to face them in court just got a letter saying I owe and a scam artist judge sides with them. I am a disabled veteran with low rating so low income and they pray on the low income. Makes me ashamed to have been in service to the country.

This place is God awful.. I owe 3k to Sessions at Pebble Creek in 2021, After 3 yrs they have taken upon they self to charge me 12k. Earlier this yr it was only 6k and in less than a year it has almost doubled. There is no way this ain't a robbery. They are about to start back taking 25% of my wages. Ain't no way I can allow this. I wish there was something I can do instead of being taking advantage of. I have to let this job go even tho it's the best job I ever had but I jus can't afford the 25% out my check until 12k is paid. I'm not doing it!

Don't let the name change fool you. These people are despicable and pray on low income families to prop up their wealth. They have bought and paid for congress in Utah to make it one of the most landlord friendly states in the US.

Soooo, I am curious -
Last year, I chose out of an insanely complex domestic violence situation. Unfortunately, it took two moves and fleeing to a shelter to get away.

The first apartment that I left in 2023, was in the middle of management changes when I had to leave -
The management that was leaving was made aware that there had been domestic violence, that I had somewhere else to go, and that I needed to leave -
But I was not getting emails or calls back, and the office was closed for extended periods of time, etc...

Because of the severity of the situation and the urgency to create safety for my family, I ended up leaving, and moving into housing.

In November, I got a letter in the mail from The Law Offices of Kirk A. Cullimore, suing me for breaking the lease. They want almost $10K from me.

I know VAWA is a federal law and the most recent time that I had to leave my housing unit, the management just gave me some papers to fill out and then they moved me to a new place.

I got approved for Victims of Crime assistance in June last year, but I didnt know that I would be receiving an almost $10K lawsuit for breaking my lease due to domestic violence. Sometimes those offices help with relocation costs- But I didnt ask for that at that time because I didnt have this then.

My offender is currently in jail, and I am working to get a protective order and legally change my name, however...

In the meantime, I have a lawsuit coming at me for 10K that if I had, I still wouldnt give them.

I really need some guidance here, because it kinda feels like theyre harrassing me, but I dont know my rights.

You know… Iv left a good review awhile back. But as I lay here in bed at 1:00 in the morning In severe pain from living with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy also known as CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome- The most painful disease scientifically known to man that is progressive and has no cure)

I can’t help but remember the very moment it irreversibly spread to my upper body… that moment was when the guy who comes to serve you eviction court papers from this law office BANGED so loud (loud enough to traumatize a small child if they were inside) on my door to my tiny one bedroom apartment without even trying to knock regular first. It shook my entire apartment and my pain spiked and jolted throughout my entire body so bad and I had to rush to the door as he yelled my name so loud… ALL because of me being evicted one month before my lease was up from becoming so severely chronically ill and trying my hardest to make rent.

This place has to keep in mind that not everyone who is being evicted is some scumbag who isn’t paying rent out of laziness or scam.. Some of us are amazing and strong and very hardworking human beings but have become so ill with very serious life changing diseases and diagnoses…

Yes most in the office are fair and work with you on timing of the monthly payments and the women who answer phone are kind and respectful..

But.. the guy they send to serve these tenants is nothing short of pure evil.

I said what I said. Let’s hope one day it’s not him who has to live with one of these severely debilitating high risk progressive chronic conditions. Smh.
