I have been involved in a divorce case with Ms. Wellborn representing my ex for over a year. I know how it must sound, me reviewing the opposing counsel--but I just want to put it out there that Ms. Wellborn doesn't care about making a divorce equitable, fair, or easy on either side. She will take every opportunity to stoke animosity between you and your spouse in order to extend the divorce process, so she can make as much money as possible. Attempts to settle the case will either go ignored, or she will respond heaping more on top of what has already been offered. In my opinion this is all a game to this attorney, with her client and her clients wallet as her pawns. If you want to be stuck in litigation for months as she comes up with reasons to extend your case, and you want to come out of this process with nothing but resentment towards your ex for what you will go through, then by all means, hire her. You have been warned. I should also add, her grasp on the laws is at best limited. During mediation, she demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of property laws, what deeds mean in court, and what it means to be in a title state. Best of luck to you if you hire her.

I did not even want to give them one star. I thought i was getting experienced attorneys because this was a arbitration case and I had to use them. I was more than disappointed and feel no one looked at my case at all. I lost my case. There was never any communication from anyone. I was let down after waiting almost a year for my case by the justice system whom I trusted to help me. Cost me money stress and my horses. Never again.
