I am deeply disappointed with the way Michael Ferrel handled my case. I approached him with full transparency, sharing both the details of my situation and my financial constraints. I chose to work with him based on the positive reviews I read here, believing he was someone I could trust.

Initially, we agreed on a payment plan where I would pay a smaller amount upfront and make monthly installments of $500. However, when I attempted to sign the agreement, I received an error message. I emailed him about the issue and followed up with a call to his office, where I was told to leave a message. I finally received an email informing me that he had unilaterally canceled the agreement. His reason? He claimed he didn’t have the time to handle my case unless I paid $10,000 upfront

It’s unclear how demanding $10,000 upfront suddenly resolves his supposed time constraints. Additionally, when he decided to cancel the agreement, the professional and ethical thing to do would have been to reach out proactively and explain the situation. Instead, I was left to chase him down to figure out why the agreement had been canceled.

Overall, this experience was unprofessional and disheartening, especially from someone I trusted based on their reputation. I expected far better communication and integrity, and that’s why I’m leaving this review so other people are not fooled when looking for a lawyer. These people only see dollar signs, and they will drop you like a sack of potatoes to get more money now. It will feel like a shock because when they are trying to win your business they make it seem like they care, etc etc… it’s all crap to get your business.
