My mother and I recently met with Counselor Wang and we were impressed with her professionalism and attention to detail regarding our case. We met with her to set my mother up with a full estate plan. We met Counselor Wang for at least an hour, while she explained all of our different options and what she recommended. We paid what we believe is a fair price for an estate plan including all necessary documents and notary services. My wife and I recently worked with a law firm in south Orange County and Ms. Wang’s firm’s prices are comparable but affordable, i.e., we feel we are getting fair market value. Having said all of this, I look forward to finishing my mother’s trust documents and having them finalized and notarized. I will update this review when we have finalized everything but based on our initial appointment, I am confident we will be fully satisfied.

Attorney Esther Wang is truly a gem in her field. I went for her service a year ago and I am so happy and grateful.

Unfortunate events happened in my family and we need to set up a trust for my elderly mother. Attorney Esther Wang set up two trusts based on my situations and continues to provide consultations and supports after the trusts were set up.

A recent law change for irrevocable trust throw the purpose of trust out of whack. I received notice of the change from Attorney Esther Wang and I reached out to her to discuss possible solutions. I was getting anxious and worry because we are closer to the year end and afraid my elderly mother could get impacted negatively in her life when new year come.

Attorney Esther Wang and I had several conversations to assess my situation and offered couple plans to ease my concerns. Meanwhile, she looked deeper into my situations and found a case similar to mine and told me we could always work things out if any negativity happen for my elderly mother and I.

I didn't get to talk to any attorneys at the firm because my case wasn't eligible for them to take. So I don't have any experience with the lawyers. However, the front desk who picked up the phone, Richard? was really rude, took the questions and comments I had personally, was supposed to provide me with another number and abruptly hang up on me with unfinished conversation. Again, I didn't pass the receptionist, but if the firm wants better review, they might look into who takes the call for their company since they are the connecting staff.

A mere, friendly conversation with a new neighbor turned our life around. One phone call to the Elder and Disability Law Firm, that was answered by the friendliest and most caring voice, turned into a scheduled very long conversation at no charge ( and no pressure to hire her), that basically changed my elderly 94 year old mother's life (and her children's lives) FOREVER!!
That may sound dramatic, but going from owing over $10,000 dollars A MONTH for my mom's care, to an affordable cost covered by her small monthly income was no small feat. Timing was everything and within weeks, something we were told time and again by many "professionals" was impossible, became a reality.. All because Esther really knows her stuff!!! Time and again I called her office in despair and was always met with positive attitudes, and more than that, ACTION.
This office always came through for us. We certainly had to do our part gathering information and getting it to her office, but with in a day or two we would have some kind of an answer, if not a resolution.
The main thing I would do differently would be to PLAN AHEAD. The average person can not KNOW all the ends and outs of the current laws, rules, and programs available to the elderly.
Trying to make knowledgeable informed decisions under stress is the worst.
