Absolutely awful person and lawyer. Never answers any calls or emails unless it’s a week plus later with his delay on his own behalf he continues to add legal fees and has no clear answers. With all the legal fees charging he should have enough money to hire an assistant to help him run a better business.

300 dollar tree turned into a 3k issue. If he is the lawyer for your HOA; sell your house.
Do your homework and you'll see. Talk with neighbors that have had to deal with him.
My advice is dont buy a house in an HOA he represents.
