Texas Foundation Experts were a light in the dark when it came to our much needed foundation repair.

Ben came on referral and we weren’t disappointed. He gave us an honest, thorough estimate, Katy provided a clear plan and Oscar’s Team showed up. No surprises, no issues. Delivering on all their promises.

Everything was left clean and tidy and my final inspections passed with flying colors. Couldn’t ask for a better result.

We suspected we had foundation issues and had 7 companies come out to give us quotes (I guess we’re particular…) We chose to have Texas Foundation Experts work on our house and we made the right choice!
The owner was the person who came to our house to give a quote. He was fair and honest and took the time to answer our questions. It did take a while for the crew to be able to come out (but that seemed like a good sign… they’re in demand). The scheduler was kind and able to answer any questions we had. The crew that came was efficient and quick. They were able to finish in two days despite a half a day delay due to rain. As part of the work, they had to drill through our back patio (it was VERY LOUD) but they took the time to clean up the hole so that the patch job looks good. The owner took the time to come to our house during the ‘lift.’ As part of the package, they included an independent foundation engineer and plumbing check. I’d whole-heartedly recommend this company.

I was referred by a neighbor to Texas Foundation Experts. After reaching out to them about a bid for repair to my foundation I was greeted by Katy who was extremely kind and informative about their process. A few days later I was met by the owner Heath who walked me through his plan and I was immediately impressed by their professionalism and accepted them for the job. The repair day came and the crew came out to start work. They did an amazing job making sure not to damage or dirty my property while they dug and installed piers. The owner Heath was on site to ensure everything went smoothly during the lift. The crew then did an amazing job completing the job and cleaning up. You would have a hard time knowing they were ever here and all my house cracks have sealed up and stabilized. What a great company to do business with. I called TFE out in 2023 to do an inspection on our home’s foundation. I was first really pleased that the recommendation was to wait and NOT spend any money on repairs at that time. Heath gave me tips on what to do to make sure we kept the foundation watered properly and said to reevaluate in a year. I called him back in September of 2024 and decided to do the repairs. Katy had us scheduled in just a few weeks and the work was completed in less than two days. The crew was professional, punctual, and worked hard to get it right. First, they're a local family owned and operated business.

Second, their price per pier matched or beat the competitors and the overall project price absolutely beat the competitors by a significant margin.

Third, their price per pier is fixed, so no surprise unknown
variable charges for different pier depths. The only variable charges are listed in the contract and even those charges beat the competitors. (i.e. if they find existing piers, if they have to tunnel vs breakout the slab, etc.). On my project, the crew was unable to breakout the porch as planned and had to tunnel a few feet to place 2 piers. Heath was up-front as soon as he found about it and extremely fair on his pricing.

Fourth, their quote is all-inclusive...permitting, excavation, installation, backfill, minor masonry work, post-lift window caulking, final engineering report, plumbing test...all included. The only extra I had to pay before the work was the engineering report ($350 from CCM Engineering) and I arranged for and paid that directly to CCM. From what I learned, this is not required in some towns (Flower Mound required a before and final engineers report).

Fifth, their work is done quickly and when they're gone, you literally can't tell they were there (except that the foundation is level). The crew was very respectful of the landscaping and took care to clean up everything.

Finally, there was no credit card upcharge - which made payment very easy and secure. Oh, and they only bill AFTER the work is done so, no risk of them taking your money and disappearing.

If there were 6 stars, I would give them 7.

Communication was fantastic. Company owner Heath was involved and present throughout the project. Katy at the office is friendly, personable, warm and compassionate.

Truly, TFE was absolutely the best to work with.

When I hired him, Heath said he wouldn't let me down. I'm here to say he delivered, without reservation, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire project.
