Ron was helpful at first. He had me on his monthly program for about 4 months no payment isssues. I even called to thank him 2 weeks ago. 25th came by and my monthly payment declined because my card was locked. Simple error that could be corrected as soon as I was aware. This man harassed me with multiple messages and threats within 3-4 hours and when I saw it and asked him to use another one of my cards (the same day during daytime) . He didn’t respond until after 10pm when I was already asleep. He harassed some more with multiple threats. I woke up frustrated because I’d been waiting all day for him. Finally he was able to process the payment on the same day of the 25th. A week later(today) I get a text from him threatening to remove me from his card if I don’t make a payment today when my payment isn’t due until the 25th. after a bunch of back and forth he said he didn’t remember charging my card on the 25th and after I sent him receipt. He wasn’t even apologetic for his threats. He’s Greedy! I wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Monika was very communicative when signing me up but after that we have not communicated much. She actually started to refer me to her colleague and so now I mostly communicate with Ron Reed. Ron was pretty nice and helpful at first. When I asked Ron to let me know what accounts had been deleted from the previous month he started going back and forth with me over email insisting that we talk on the phone. When I expressed to Ron that I was at work and couldn’t talk that didn’t stop him from calling me 2or3 times. He mentioned that he had sent me the last 2 comparative credit reports and to refer to those. I told him I would on my own time but in the mean time if he could shoot me an email with a quick summary (as he did the previous 2 months) with the accounts that has been removed (would have taken 5 minutes) that would be preferred. He ignored me. I have yet to receive that information despite my follow up emails.

My first contact with Texas Credit Specialists came about when I was being threatened and harassed by a debt collector on an old debt from 2012. The collector had told me that they were going to take me to court, and that shook me up pretty badly.

The owner of TCS, Ron Reed, found out about the calls I had received and he got in touch with me. We talked for a long time and after hearing about my dealings with the collector, Ron explained that the collector had potentially violated several laws. At that point, we began discussing what to do so that I could collect evidence and put together a case against this company. Once we had built a solid case, Ron referred me to an attorney who specialized in this type of lawsuit.

The result: the collection company I sued settled with me. I ended up winning a monetary settlement and getting the debt forgiven (the debt no longer existed!). All of this was done with no upfront cost to me.

After the settlement was completed, I asked Ron if he would look at my credit report and give me a few tips on how to raise my credit scores. I followed his advice and got my scores up above 700. I am now being approved for accounts that I had been turned down for in the past!

About a decade ago, I was faced with some trouble I brought onto myself. No criminal trouble or anything like that, but I did get myself in a situation where I went through a divorce. Going through the divorce, I ended up having to foreclose on my house, my ex let a vehicle get repo'ed which was in my name. I knew with all of that going on my credit was shot! And it was, I couldn't get anything in my name, I couldn't even get an ATV.
