Working with Jennifer and her team at Tenant Law Group has been exceptional. This experience was such a blessing, to say the least. I'm truly thankful for Jennifer's high moral standards and how she fought for my family to get the best out of this case! She didn't settle when things got tough she stood her ground. If Resilience was a person, she would be it after an entire year of back and forth, we met our Victory. Everyone on the team had exceptional customer service and kindness. I love the way we were always included and updated throughout the entire process we never felt alone or lost in this process. I truly feel as though justice was served. THANK YOU! I would highly recommend Jennifer as a lawyer on any case. Her level of integrity, care ,and efficiency was a game changer. I'm forever grateful.

I had a quick session with Julie Hartlé , first of all, she is an amazing person, very understanding, and also very professional and well-informed about the issues we were having. She has an extensive background with different housing departments and also knows disability law very well. She gave me sound advice and we set up a follow-up. I can say that I am very happy with the value they provided me in this session and highly recommend them.

I am extremely disappointed with Tenant Law Group's handling of my constructive eviction case over the past three years. They made a settlement offer without my consent, provided incorrect legal advice, and ignored urgent communications. There were multiple staff changes without notification, which caused significant delays. Despite requesting my case file almost four weeks ago, I still have not received it. Communication has been abysmal, with countless unreturned emails and voicemails. Our lawyer frequently forgot key details about our case and claimed to have "no recollection" of conversations we had with him.

Update: I posted the below on a Sunday. Monday morning I got an email from their head of growth offering to finally give me a consultation. I replied asking for one good reason I should do so after the level of disrespect they showed me. They didn't reply, but sent me an automated email saying they wouldn't be able to help me. So you heard it here first folks: their head of marketing (growth?) can't come up with a reason you should use their services.

Original review:

I wouldn’t want to be represented by a firm that shows this level of disrespect to anyone. In the end I dodged a bullet.

They sent me a letter offering a free consultation. I called to set it up. The person on the call wasn’t a lawyer and had no advice for me. They said that based on my situation, they’d set up an appointment with a lawyer. We scheduled that meeting, they requested a bunch of docs prior to the meeting, but on the day of the meeting they canceled with no explanation.

I immediately emailed and called. No reply. Emailed a few more times and never heard back.

So after 4 months of thinking my case involving a infestation of mice & rats(caught 15)was being worked on, I found out that my case was terminated almost immediately after accepting my case because I answered no to one of the criminal background questions that mentioned having any recent criminal activities etc which is true, over 6 years plus is not recent so I guess they don’t trust to represent us because of that I feel it’s discrimination because what does having a criminal record have to do with us needing the help?! It shouldn’t have even taking me reaching out to find this out. Very unprofessional for a law firm & they don’t have your best interest obviously.. like how you can’t sympathize with a family that obviously needs representation & justice from & very inhabitable situation if that’s your job?!

EDITED to 3 Stars: Consultation with Paul-5 Stars, Consultation with Aser-3.5 stars( nice and good advice but he forgot to talk w/ Paul about possibly taking case against landlord for about a week, I had to call in), Reception-5 Stars, Omar-0 Stars:

I was told he would review my evidence to see if they could take my case and it would only be a few days. I was also told he would contact me for any other info I should submit. Weeks go by and I heard nothing so I emailed them to follow up and I was sent an email saying they don't represent unlawful detainers. I want to sue for retaliatory eviction, harassment and unlivable conditions, stealing my cat. I called them and waited for Omar to finally call me. He calls from an unrecognized number, doesn't leave a voicemail. He then calls my other number and leaves a voicemail to call him back. I call back and he's very short, keeps cutting me off and says I had no evidence except for me blogging about the harassment and some texts to my sisters about the threats. I said I had a sheriffs report, vet bills, x-rays of my cat with bullets in her arm, security videos of my landlord stealing another one of my cats, screenshots of him being adopted out, photos of the house conditions, photos of their dogs always in my yard, etc... He argues with me that I didn't upload any of that. I had to tell him how to get to the video files. He hadn't looked at any of the folders except the 1(10 most pieces) but he'd talk it over with the team and give me an answer. He said he'd know by today and today I received an email saying they couldn't help me, with "free tenant resources" , which wouldn't even be helpful to my case in any way, but WITHOUT the attachments.

Since I spoke to him yesterday, I've watched my landlord wait for me to leave again, steal 3 more of my cats on security video, specifically targeting them, come home to the hot water shut off(they went into the house), and my package stolen with a note from them on the door for the delivery man not to deliver packages to my address anymore.

Review for Paul and reception. They provided excellent advice on my landlord buyout issue and had a very calming and friendly demeanor. They were extremely knowledgeable and helped me feel confident in talking to my bully of a landlord.
