Tania is the best thing that happened to us during my pregnancy! Tania is calm and understanding. She sees you and understands and helps you feel better. She is a calm breath in a stressful world. After the birth of my daughter I had crippling postpartum anxiety and Tania came over everyday to check in on me until she sat me down and said it was time I got help from a licensed therapist. She gave me a phone number which sent me on my way to the help I needed. 3 years of therapy later, I had almost no anxiety with the birth of my son! Tania is there for you! My daughter is now 4 and I still call Tania from time to time to ask parenting questions and sometimes cry. She’s a warm hug. A bright smile. She is the best! I was so sad when she moved away! The birth of my son went smooth and we were all healthy, but it made me appreciate Tania even more. We had it so good with Tania! She offers you many services and does much more for you than many other types of birth experiences! Tania is experienced and wonderful and although I wish she could have been my midwife round two I’m so grateful I had her for my first birth when I needed her the most!

We are are a family with 8 children and 4 have been birthed with Tania as their midwife. The only thing that stopped us from hiring her for a 5th birth was the fact she moved (lucky for you ; )

My first 3 babies were birthed at a birth center and two hospitals. Thus my 4th baby and very first home birth was with Tania. I initially hired her because she was easy going and seemed deeply invested in supporting mothers. I was not wrong! Over the years Tania has supported and resourced me to grow and become a confident birthing mother. She always seemed to meet me where I was and intuitively supported me with what I needed. Having my children present at prenatal visits and each subsequent birth was very important to me. Tania beautifully supported this family dynamic and always took the opportunity to answer my children's questions and to normalize birth as a sacred and tender time for family bonding.

I really could go on singing her praises. I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say. All in all Tania is a gem. She is truly a virtuous woman and I admire her as a midwife but most importantly as a friend. I love you Tania.

I would highly recommend Tania for anyone looking to work with a midwife for a home birth. She is a lovely person, and you can tell that she truly enjoys and believes in the importance of the work she does in supporting mother, baby, and family with bringing new life to this world in a gentle nurturing way. You can sense Tania’s devotion, authenticity, and caring as a midwife the whole time you work with her. She was always accessible when I reached out to her about questions or support pre and post birth. I had some concerns about emergency situations during birth and what could be done from home for mother and infant and she was very reassuring in explaining the precautions she takes and the interventions she is able to preform if there is an emergency, making me feel safe about the home birth process. Tania was great when it came to including my older son (2.5y/o) in the prenatal visits (letting him help measure and listen to the baby), the birth, and postnatal visits. She also provided great resources for older siblings so they can know what to expect during the home birth. All this preparation and involvement I think really helped my older son integrate the birth and helped him feel happy to be an older brother when the baby was born. During the birth, Tania was available in the middle of the night arrived at an ideal moment. She was calm, present, and supportive throughout the birth along with her midwife assistant. I’m so glad Tania was there to support me and my family with the arrival of our baby!

We are so happy we worked with Tania for our homebirth. We met with a few midwifes and felt like Tania was the one that “clicked” and would make sense in our home and space for such an intimate moment. Throughout all the prenatal care Tania was amazing and visiting her office as opposed to a formal doctors office was so much more in line with the positive excitement we felt around everything. We received amazing medical care and guidance every step of the process. I always felt like I could ask any and every question imaginable and that Tania was there to help me not just physically but mentally as well to prepare for the birth and transition for me personally and for our family.

She worked with us to understand how comfortable we were and the choices we wanted to make. We were erring on the side of caution since we are a bit farther from a hospital if needed but thankfully I was able to have the birth I planned.

My labor was a long one (53 hours ?) but Tania never wavered and supported me through it all and believed in me when I started to doubt my own birth plan. She was both firm and encouraging and worked with me to help understand where I was in the process of labor and also what my options were throughout labor.

We had small medical worry right after the birth but even with that, Tania handled it so calmly that the precious early time with our daughter wasn’t interrupted at all.

Afterwards, Tania visited postpartum and was available for any questions — about everything postpartum and everything baby too. It was such a blessing to have her available to us to have piece of mind and to have her come to our home to visit and check on our daughter and handle all the medical checkups at home so we didn’t have to drive anywhere with our little one during those precious first days. That was so invaluable.

Tania is a wonderful midwife and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to have their baby at home. You will be in very capable and caring hands.

She is kind, gentle and personable, not to mention very knowledgeable and clued up on all the latest research and information. She earned my trust and respect and both my husband and I walked away from the experience feeling like we had gained a friend.

I love that she encouraged all my preferences without putting her personal opinions or perspectives in the way. She was so respectful, always asking before touching my belly and making sure I was comfortable at all times. She is also really generous with her time and I always felt like I was her number one priority even though I know how busy she is.

We couldn’t have asked for better prenatal care, birth experience and postpartum guidance. We are wanting another baby in the future and Tania will be our first call when we find out we are pregnant.
