Attorney Tomeo goes into detail about DUI defenses on his website, so I contacted him to represent me. From the very beginning I stressed wanting to fight for my innocence. He charged me 1,200$ and said it'd be more for a trial. His representation was very...lazy, to say the least. My case involved two breathalyzer results of 0.00, no driving, but sleeping while pulled into a trailer park entrance. I wasn't ever offered an opportunity to contact an attorney, even after saying I wanted one.
Anyway, after Attorney Tomeo finally received the discovery....it included only one video which was a dash cam footage faced away from the scene and didn't have audio. I expressed to him how that wasn't right because I was told of the body cam being on and the officer pointing to the light
Attorney Tomeo decided to gaslight me making me feel like a terrible client because I was asking questions and highly concerned about my case. So he made me remove him as my attorney after 6 months.
Don't waste your time! He just wants to do the bare minimum, you might as well get a public defender.
