Useless! I called and tried to talk to someone about a legal matter four days in a row and I could not get through to them or leave a message. I tried to contact them through their website and was sent a phone number to call after leaving a detailed message. When I called the number I explained my legal situation and I was told "we can't help you!" and they promptly hung up! The whole thing was a waste of time and effort! Like I stated before, this place to totally useless!

Pointless calling they just tell you they can’t help you. It’s like a free number to call if you wanna hear they cannot help you

It take alittle bit to get through to a person, did have to call back a few time due to high call volume but once I did speak with a representative, I was immediately given an intake interview. Next day I had an actual lawyer helping me... The representative that helped me was Lisa and she was kind, informative and made me feel like someone actually wanted to help me.. would recommend to anyone who needs them.

I give them 3 stars only because they are so difficult to get ahold of!
But once you do they are very friendly and very helpful! Orlando is helping me out and I appreciate how kindness and patience he continues to show even with all of my confusion lol

I applied online for help because no one ever answers the phone! Well now they finally called me and I STILL can't speak to anyone because EVERYTIME I CALL it tells me to call back!!! WHY doesn't it at LEAST have an answering service So now I am going to have to make arrangements to go there in person and PRAY they are seeing people in in the office...so horrible

No wonder New haven is no. 3 on the poverty list. You got organizations like this, that don't help anyone! The federal funding is probably being spent on themselves. Pick up the phone!! Help people for once!!

I can’t give them a horrible review but they only help very low income people. If you’re above poverty level, forget it. I can’t be mad, however I do wish there was some kind of assistance for the working middle class.

No help for low income people they count any type of income and they do not deduct any expenses. No help, bad help no meaning for this service. Hope someone means to help
