From what I can see. There's multiple complaints about this department for writing false tickets. I fell victim to them as well. Was driving on interstate 40 going along with traffic at 78-79 mph in a 75mph zone. Got pulled over and the police officer said I was doing 88mph. I hadn't hit 88 mph at all that day. According to my tracking app. My top speed was 81 for the day. I will speed up a few mph to get away from big trucks here and there. Was on my way to little rock because my mother was dying. Pretty sad in hard times these corupt cops make it even harder. They see out of state plates and write tickets knowing your only option is to just pay the ticket. Not worth driving 9 hours away for court when the judge is going to back up the corrupt cops anyways. Your welcome for my $200 donation to your department. The corruption is getting worse in this country. Cops are nothing but crooked road pirates at this point. Would be nice to start seeing something get done about this.

Crooked cops
Was driving down the interstate cruise control set on 71. Cop passed me then slowed down and got behind me for 3-6 minutes. At this point i knew he was trying to find a reason cause if it was a true violation the lights would have come on immediatly. The vehicle i was in was a company lease vehicle, meaning i didnt own it. The came and got my license and proof of insurance. Went back to their truck for another 10 minutes. Came back told me he was giving me a ticket for inattentive driving and failure to provide proof of registration. Told the guy i got my registation right here. He said it was too late. Anyone know what state agency i can complain too

1 star because you can’t give 0. drove 14 hrs to court hearing with proof of susp license error from my state just for the states attorney to tell me take a different charge/plea or be found guilty bc “that’s what was going to happen anyway”…. for fines/tickets you have to to pay cash or take a 3% fee. on top of that there was no security at the door and the place was just run down and dirty.

Seemed to have a stricter enforcement on commuters in the area, from highway on into town. Dispite the offense, when you are ticketed, take funding with you to the courthouse so you will be able to pay- then resume your travels.
