I think this is the worst detention center/jail. They treated the immigrants like trash and it’s unclean, the place just needs to lock down at this point. Immigrants getting bite by scorpions and pretty much everyone there’s having out breaks of rashes all over their skin. The place is infested with roaches crawling all over the inmates body there. At the end of the day immigrants are human and deserve to be treated much better in a safe environment. The Governor needs to intervene and investigate this place or people who fight for human rights needs to take a look at this place, it’s not safe at all.

I am an illegal immigrant from China. I fled my country and was transferred to this detention center on March 4, 2023. I've been here for almost two months. ~~I cannot be as happy as immigrants from Latin America and other European and American countries, because I went to the United States from China and spent all my savings. ~The moment I was released from prison on bail, I was so excited that I couldn't sleep all night: When I left the cell, an older man said to me ~ I wish you good luck in life. I am grateful and grateful for the encouragement and information he gave me. ~~~~I can now stay in the United States legally, work and live: ~~Of course all this is thanks to my elder brother in Mexico~ He asked his wife to sponsor me to leave the detention center and officially enter the United States. ~~~~~~~~~ I have been living in the United States for almost a year now. It was very difficult at the beginning~ But life is gradually getting better~ It also gives me more goals and expectations in life~ I also want to try, challenge yourself. Become the person who can truly realize your self-worth! ~~~~~~Sometimes I even want to go back to the detention center where I stayed for two months to take a look. 🤣🤣🤣🤣The place that made me unhappy for two months. I love Texas, it’s a world of Spanish and English!😬😬😬😬😬😬

My wife and I came here with questions regarding my brother that is a detainee seeking asylum and everyone from the GEO's to the Imigration Officers have been very nice and helpful, they have answered all our questions and helped us on how to contact my brother and on how to add money for him. When I spoke with my brother he said the GEO's inside are very nice and treat them with kindness and humanity, he said after many years of being scared for his life here he feels safe and he can finally sleep.
