Horrible place all together. Lord help you to get anyone on the phone. I been working on a divorce since 2009. Filed 3 times after their office said it looked good and each time the judge needed more paperwork and denied it after my ex and I both signed the paperwork to divorce. I’m going back again to file. After you file it takes 4 months for the judge to even look at it. Write your congress man.

They say it's whats best for the child right now how is me giving 19,000 a year help my child but my child mother gets 3,000 a year off the 19,000 a year and in 18 yr i give this county 330,000 to this county and in 18 she get around 25,000 and mind you she 8month old and needs 1,700 a month to be taking care of ?they are robbing me from give my daughtera life i didn't have,I didnt have a child to spoil solano county. It's clear they want me gone and not around. They push back my child support case because of the custody case but still do child support before the conclusion of the custody case. I'm asking for 50% and paying $500 for this and they give me 3day a week for two hr for two months .now since we do child support before custody they have me down for 3% when in both cases im asked for 50%this not right I will appeal in a higher court.its clear being black and coming here is not a good look.but before I let you take my child from I will use every door I can to shed light on this malpractice of a system

The mediators are terribly inadequate and act more as glorified referees, not analysts. They do little to zero investigative work. Unfortunately, some “parents” that have proven time and time again to be substandard and obviously negligent to the child, are still able to slick the system. The standards are not balanced comparatively to other jurisdictions. Our family sadly suffers due to the multitude of issues stemming from this operation. Frustrated!

This has been the worst court experience I have been in since I started the divorce papers in 2007. They always cater to the mother even though she was basically homeless and jobless at the time. They make court orders they refuse to make the mother follow and tell you to call the police if she refuses to follow custody orders. The police just send you back to court where the judge gives mothers a slap on the hand. When my divorce was finally finalized in court they lost the paperwork and tried to claim I was still legally married because they did not have the paperwork on file. I showed them my copy and they tired to tell me they needed me to give them my original copy. I still have my original and gave them a copy. I had a detective help me track all the time my ex-wife refused to follow the visitation order. The judge did not even want to hear it. Instead, he wanted to punish me for being 10 minutes late one time due to traffic but excusing her 50 plus times of not giving me my children. It seems like this court allows mothers to make the most outrageous claims and speak about any topic at nauseum but cut the father off before he could show his evidence. I was recently in court again for a support adjustment where the mother was caught lying about the time I spend with my children and the same thing happened. They only care about the money. So much was stated. They do jot care to make my ex follow the orders made by that same court. But if it's only money they want I don't mind paying for the next three or so years. Please do better solano superior court. If I lived closer I would be petitioning to recall several of the biased judges in this court house.

It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get through to anyone at this courthouse by phone. Our office is constantly attempting to reach a clerk, or any LIVE PERSON via phone and we are always put on hold for over an hour!! Literally!! That is absolutely unacceptable! Either hire additional employees or get a better system for answering your phone calls! This can not continue like this.

If I could rate this court and the Solano Family Law Facilitators at a zero rating I would. I’ve had three judges since filing for child custody and divorce in oct 2017. The third judge violated UCCJEA law allowing an Illinois judge to strong arm her into giving jurisdiction in a state that doesn’t protect domestic abuse survivors or their children and requires that confidential information be made public to the abuser putting them in danger. The facilitators are rude and refuse to make appts, meaning people who are attempting to get out of being low income have to take off and stand in lines keeping them in low income status and overworking and overwhelming the staff in the facilitator office. They never gave correct information and caused me to incorrectly self represent myself and did not even know of the laws that I presented to them after extensive research. I only utilized them for assistance filing paperwork and ensuring it was correctly filled out. The family law clerks office was helpful, but on my last visit asked why I requested an emergency hearing when I was just in front of the judge and no minutes were entered yet. Being proactive in the case apparently is frowned upon.

judge carringer has forced me to share custody with a man when i should have been able to take custody back, the father of my son knew that i had no family that would help me to take care and house my son and i, my son was kidnapped from me by a man who performed physical, mental, financial abuse against me, i was never properly served legal papers about court, i was only texted them, im from los angeles, when i got approval to take my son back, i was happy and the last thing to do was serve the father, the father was prepared with a lawyer and falsified legal papers filled with lies, the only way to serve him was on our court date he made, upon court date when i was told only to enter to deny the jurisdiction, the fathers lawyerthreatened that if i did not enter atthe time they wanted me to i would be incompliant, the judge interrupted me before a word came out of my mouth, she flipped through the papers and told me i lied to la countys judge by sayin i did not have other court dates, i was never properly served paperwork about dv, ro, i did not receive these papers until i showed up in solano county for court which was after i got custody of.my son approved from la. i explained to the judge that text messages about the court date to my knowledge, were not liable, she dismissed.my words, she did not review.my documents or evidence of.my situation. she helped aid the kidnapping of.my son, sadly, this case im continuing to work on. i do need more support.
