This library is wonderful for travelers with kiddos (and I’m sure for locals). There’s a playground outside, but inside, they have all the popular chapter books and great picture book titles and an adorable play space for kids with magnatiles, dolls, arts and crafts table, and more. There are also computers with headphones for different age ranges (2–5) and (6–15). The librarian is a delight too!

They even have books for sale: 50¢ for hardcover, 25¢ paperback and kids books are free! Great for when you’re on a long trip and need some reinforcements.

We love libraries and always visit them when we’re on holiday. This one is housed in a beautiful old building with gorgeous little spaces in every nook. And they have WiFi!

Rare Carnegie Library is cute and historic, but more importantly, it plays a crucial role in the local community. Bringing together folks from all walks of life, offering free resources, wifi, and a community food pantry. Oh and they have books too!

This is a 'hub' for life in Silverton, Co. One of the ladies here has made rhubarb pies for their 4th of July festival for 20+ years. That's focus on her town. Jackie still takes orders I'm told. They get into holiday festivals here.
It's like stepping back into the 1950's.
