I wouldn't say my case was complicated, but we ended up having sudden changes at the last minute. Meggin was able to update and correct our case and be ready for court. She always was a professional, but she made sure I was comfortable with each step and that we could get the best results. Meggin Rutherford and her paralegal, Sarah Duff, are compassionate professionals who supported me through one of the most difficult times of my life. They successfully represented me in my divorce from an abusive narcissist who thought he was a lawyer despite being kicked out of law school and losing all of his frivolous lawsuits against perceived enemies. Needless to say, he was a nightmare to work with, but Meggin and Sarah did not put up with any of his nonsense. Rachel and her team did an incredible job for me in a very complicated case. I liked that she was always available to email or talk to. Divorce is a thoroughly unpleasant experience, so it pays to have the right counsel on your side. Lisa Shellenberger (and her team) are the right people at this difficult time. Highly recommend Lisa and her team. I had 4 long hard years in court fighting for my daughter and eventually ended with stepparent adoption. In the beginning, I had a different firm represent me in a child custody/support case with my ex-husband. I spent over seven thousand dollars, and all my previous law firm did was file a motion to change venue and a motion to modify child support.
