My wife and I had not updated our Estate Plans in years. And so with my recent retirement, it seemed like the perfect time to tackle this long overdue task. After a brief search we settled on Riddle & Butts. One of the things that gave us confidence in this firm was the amount of time they have been servicing the community and the size of their organization. In particular, it said to us they were here to stay and would be here when we need them. Another plus was Christine Butts' experience as a judge which we believe gave her insights into the probate process that others just wouldn't have. And finally, from our initial meeting until final document signing, Christine and the rest of her team, were patient and professional as we worked through the process and asked our many, many questions. All in all a very positive experience. Highly recommend.

My brother and I worked with Christine on a lengthy (3 year) estate dispersal after our father died and we allowed our step mother to become administrator. Losing our father was emotional and having to deal with all of the legal issues left behind was even more so. Christine was always easy to get ahold of and would notify us if she was going to be out. She was a great balance of sympathy, compassion and logic. She was always professional but never cold. I trusted that she had been a judge and had a great deal of experience in this field. My mother selected Christine to handle her estate. It was Christine's first family estate work. Ms. Butts was meticulous, committed, and competent. After mom passed Christine was empathetic and patient while explaining all the details to my brothers and I. My husband and I in turn also choose Christine to prepare our estate documents, containing multiple trusts. As trustee myself, for my deceased brother's two children, her heartfelt advice to me has proven valuable and relevant. I highly recommend Christine and her law firm.
