Absolutely horrendous customer service from Tyler. His attitude was actually on par with RFCUs current standard, but beyond subpar for Credit Unions across the country. He was ignorant, misinformed, rude, condescending and flat out nasty. It’s no wonder so many people are choosing to leave and join other unions with informed people. Amber was so nice and helpful and I pity that she has to manage a team of people with the likes of Tyler, she deserves better. Jordan was a smart young man, he explained how the system works & I appreciate his professionalism. I am not sure why Redstone is adamant on running my debit card transaction as a cash advance for a payoff on a card account, but I already know that’s their way of attempting to stall paying off your balance. Why not adjust the payoff as POS? I’m sure there are ways to get around that outdated method. With the terrible ghetto interaction I had today, just reconfirms why I can’t wait to fully close my account with this Union and be completely 100% finished with their problematic attitudes. My credit union reassured me multiple times, what their policy is and how it works and considering I’ve not had 1 issue with them since joining, but multiple with Redstone, I’ll stick with my union’s explanation. Regardless, Tyler was a nightmare to work with and does not need to be customer facing. I hope Amber and Jordan do well, they were great!

The lady we just had at the branch on Sullivan street was extremely rude and very unprofessional. If you work with public you need to have good work ethic and know how to speak to people. She didnt even look at my sons account before she said "sorry cant help you!" He was going to pay off a loan then apply for a stretch loan which is what the branch manager lady told him two months ago, then this lady said that my son had to get another checking account and have it for three months before he "could even" apply for any loan at Redstone. Then she said once that other loan is paid off he cant apply for nothing for three months. That is not what he was told originally. Yall all need to get your story straight and be on the same page. We will be withdrawing all our money our of our accounts from your bank and take our business elsewhere. If I could have given her a zero she sure deserves it.

Went in to the branch on sullivan street and tried to deposit a check into our joint account that I have done before only to be told that my husband has to be there also. Since when I have always deposited checks into our joint account before. Those tellers need more training on services dbs customer service! I will be taking my banking needs elsewhere!

Poor customer service for a credit union. Third rate online services. Accounts and cards randomly placed on hold. Have been a member for 25 years and about every 2 years I'm locked out of card or account for no explainable reason. The worst part is, there is never any notification given when an account or card is locked. I'll only find out when I need to use the service. Leading to a multi-day attempt to gain access again.

I had a great recent personal loan process at Redstone Credit Union. Jessa was who I originally met for a personal loan and she was extremely helpful and told me my pre approval amount and was not pushy on anything. I decided to go back two weeks later and get my pre approval personal loan and Aarion helped me. She was outstanding as well and extremely helpful and genuinely wanted to help me. I appreciate them both and had a good experience.

I went to the Sullivan Street location in Madison, AL to apply for a loan. I spoke with Frederick Jamar. I am a police officer and was in uniform and I got the quick impression he was not a supporter of police, I don’t personally care though. He was very short with me and left me in the room for almost 5 minutes alone at one point while waiting for a response. Seemed very unprofessional to me when I was very polite the whole time.
