I contracted Thomas 'Doug' Allen early in 2018 to help me expunge a very old case. When I initially contracted Doug to work on my case, I had a pending matter that required a few months to clear. Mr. Allen is the best!! He told me exactly what would happen and explained all the steps in the beginning all in one phone call. He was very responsive on email and he handled everything super fast! Thomas 'Doug' Allen was the one representing me. I was convicted of a felony in one county and the case and probation was transferred to a nearby county. Doug was a great hands on lawyer which was in my experience very rare. Doug always answered his emails and told me from the gate to feel free and call him anytime. So with my case Doug was.
Able to get the felony reduced to a misdemeanor. 3 months goes by with me thinking I was no longer a felon and come to find out the second county that held the case still showed felony. So I called Doug thinking to myself" this guy is not going to answer my call and if he does he's going to try and charge me more money" so I called and left a message. Doug returned my call a hour later. He then sent the judge email saying she checked the wrong box and it needed to be corrected. After handling all that Doug wrote a letter to the first county for them to remove my felony because they were not the holder of that case. I wish I would of found Doug first. Best lawyer hands down. It has been a pleasure and extremely simplistic working with Doug.
