I have heard all the negative comments, now let's put some positive on here. My defender was Cassius Russell. This man was brilliant and put the prosecuting attorney to shame. I understand that it's probably the luck of the draw and I am sure that some of the negative comments are justified, but if you are fortunate enough to get Russell, he will definitely fight for you and a very good chance the outcome will be in your favor. Great job Cassius..

Hope and pray you are never assigned a public defender from this office. They do not work with defendants they work for the prosecutors . They will work against you and try and force you into taking pleas. You’re better off representing yourself because they do not have the manpower , knowledge or resources to do so. If you decide to exert your constitutional right to a jury trial, they will intentionally help the prosecutor hang you.

I have never known anyone to get any kind of defense from the Public Defender Office. The Public Pretenders seem to have a greater desire to please the GOB than defend it's benefactors. Wish this could have been a 5 star rating; frankly a whole star is a few points to much. Sorry for the defendant. Just stay out of trouble; in Ross county.

There's a ton that can be said about the court legal system here ... I will make a youtube video in time on it and the uselessness they server. .. be warned that this is sub par legal and it's only to chug you through the legal system and they will aspire to do nothing minimal effort and give you a plea deal that sounds like gold when your under the heat , I have used them 3 times in the last 12 month and the only reason I got all charges dropped is because i done all the legal work and forced them into action, unless you are a alpha male type and can dominate a bad situation with a clear head and use razar sharp logic on the fly then your fine ..but if your anything less then me or someone like that then you will be sunk faster the a life boat in a naval target practice firing zone , seriously don't use them. . Also don't use Jim boldger . . . Unless you got your case together and need nothing less then a minimal effort passage then go with a non local attorney. . . .
