I have been a customer of Priceline well over 2 years now. I book almost every single weekend through them as travel is part of my work/business. Fast forward to November 29th, my last and final reservation with Priceline. Trip # 690-179-675-17. I was unable to make this reservation because we were hit hard with a snow storm. So bad we made national news and were under strict travel restrictions. I call Priceline immediately after knowing we would not be able to travel and they tell me they will reach out to the hotel and ask for a refund due to this being completely out of my hands. The Hotels GM and assistant GM both verbally authorized my refund several times over a 10 day period. Only for Priceline to continuously come up with excuse after excuse as to why their phantom 3rd party partner couldn’t approve it. Apparently this 3rd party partner needs an email authorization. However, the hotel has never received an email to respond to!! I’m beyond disgusted and disappointed. I will be reaching out to the attorney general and better business bureau. I will make sure this gets investigated. I can see by all the 1 star reviews that I am not the only one who has had to deal with this. Please do your research! Do not book with Priceline.

If I can put a negative star I would! Please double check the airline about cancellation even if you put insurance on your flight also about refundable and baggage check I purchased my tickets baggage was included then I have to pay extra when I was checking in. They told me I have to talk to my airlines to see if I can get a refund since it was already included in my ticket pricing I’ve been waiting 4 to 6 months and I still have not received the refund. They keep giving me the runaround. I do not recommend Priceline. They are a scam. They are a rip off and they will never give you your refund.

I see from all the one star ratings that I’m not the only person this has happened to. I own a business and use Priceline estimated spending about 40,000. two50,000 $ in the last eight months. As of late my room reservations are getting canceled without me canceling them and I’m still being charged for it. When asking for a refund I’m told they have to get a hold of the property. One property is saying that my driver never showed up. The other property is saying that Priceline canceled the reservation both times on Priceline and it said reservation is not canceled both times both hotels said Priceline has canceled the reservation. This business should absolutely be looked into by the Attorney General or Elon Musk himself. I’m sure he’ll find plenty wrong with what they’re doing.

NEVER EVER BOOK A RENTAL CAR WITH PRICELINE! I did over Christmas and landed 12 midnight with 50+ other arrivals looking to pickup their rental cars over Christmas/New Years. I as well as all the others told NO CARS AVAILABLE yet Priceline keeps taking reservations. Then try online with Penny who tells you that I need to contact the rental car company. I tried both of them and unable to get past the bots to a live person at Priceline who then tries charging me also for insurance NOT used. Priceline charged full price and rental car co another charge. Weeks it has taken! Do you or any of us have time for this when working, moving and especially over the holidays. Still waiting for a Supervisor to escalate to those over her. They are too high up to talk and NOW let’s see if they refund fully!!! Priceline is part of Kayak & Booking.com! A mega company out of CT Attorney General needs to investigate!

Horrible Experience with Next Car Rental & Priceline – Ruined Our Vacation!

I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with the appalling service provided by Next Car Rental and Priceline. My family and I made a reservation for a rental car two weeks in advance through Priceline, expecting everything to go smoothly for our vacation. However, when we arrived at the rental desk to pick up our car, we were shocked to learn that our reservation had been canceled without any prior notice. To make matters worse, this happened at 2 AM, leaving us stranded with no car, no alternatives, and no support.

We had already paid for an insurance plan through Priceline, but when we asked for help at the rental desk, the staff was completely unhelpful. They told us there was nothing they could do, and we needed to contact Priceline directly. After hours of waiting and trying to sort things out, we called Priceline, only to be met with an incredibly rude and dismissive representative. They refused to assist us, stating that they couldn’t resolve the issue, despite us having paid for coverage and the car being reserved two weeks prior.

To make matters even worse, Priceline kept the money we paid for the protection plan, even though they didn’t fulfill their end of the bargain by providing the car. It’s utterly infuriating that not only did we have to deal with the stress of being left stranded in the middle of the night, but they also kept our money for a service they didn’t deliver. This is a classic example of bait-and-switch tactics: you pay for protection, but when something goes wrong, neither company is willing to take responsibility, and they just keep your money.

It’s absolutely mind-boggling how both Priceline and Next Car Rental could cancel a reservation so close to the pick-up time and fail to notify us in advance. The worst part was that we had no time to make alternative arrangements. We had planned everything around this reservation, and with no help from either company, we were left scrambling to find other transportation options at the last minute.

The complete lack of professionalism, transparency, and customer support was infuriating. After spending hours on the phone with Priceline, they refused to offer any kind of solution, leaving us stranded and helpless. We were paying customers with an insurance plan, yet we were treated like our concerns didn’t matter. The stress and frustration of trying to deal with both companies was overwhelming, and ultimately, this situation ruined our vacation.

I strongly DO NOT recommend using Priceline or Next Car Rental. Even if you pay for their protection plan, they offer zero guarantees and completely fail to honor their commitments when it matters most. These companies are unreliable, unprofessional, and downright untrustworthy. Our experience was a nightmare, and I would never trust them again for any future bookings.

If you value your vacation and peace of mind, stay far away from Priceline and Next Car Rental. They don’t care about your needs, and they certainly don’t back up their services. We were left stranded and stressed out, and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Save yourself the frustration and choose a company that actually cares about its customers.

Booked a last minute flight with cancellation protection. Immediately after submitting (no more than 15 min) I called and asked to cancel the auto reservation only. I was told ā€œauto can’t be cancelledā€ā€¦then I researched and I was eligible for the collision insurance refund -as I would have used my own auto insurance anyways. So: didn’t pick up the car, paid the full amount, & never got the email service I was promised because their online link with email wasn’t working. Don’t expect auto refunds or any customer service. One star-

Disappointed , unacceptable , unresponsive . Resume my experience with Priceline , I would never and I won’t recommend this company to do businesss anymore to ANYONE AND PLEASE. DONT . They allow scams from their partners, they got partner on stays that are a 100 % a fraud and false advertising . Blakely by LuxUrban is showed like 4 stars hotel when the place is falling apart , dated, moldy and not clean , That under the CDC regulations or healthy department has to be on a serie of violations , Priceline didn’t accept my cancellation for healthy issues just bc their parte de dont answe a phone but they accepted my payment , Priceline is only based on a charge not on the satisfaction of their customers , this hotel has to be shutting down since the moldy stuff ans the level of bad odor is beyond the one allowed . Priceline is cheapline , is a cheap store showing themself like high que quality company . The supervisors they don’t allow you to talk they just jumped rude and uneducated person who don’t take Priceline back for the rudeless of them . Escalation department. Prefer to loose customer instead of accommodate them . 15% off in a coupon in another cheap hotel is their answer . Hyatt place has been till now 100 effective , 5 start customer service ans they save my night instead of throwing me on the streets because Blakely hotel in nyc with the mold and unsafe hazard . So instead of canceling the partnership bc is bad business for them they are walking hand to hand with them against their Iowan customer . This is predice line partnership 4 STAR HOTEL , and they sold me this location for 200$ the night , blood not cleaned in the drawer . Dust everywhere . Mold in the air . Comforter without sheets . Comforter stained . Sticky furniture . Dated furniture . Shower handle off , chain for the shower head missing . Homeless smells . This is Priceline partner and they got their back instead of your CUSTOMER . Or should I say ex customer

I booked this hotel on Priceline. It showed it had a four star review pictures looked beautiful. When I got to the hotel, it was hard to even find the entrance. There was construction. You had to walk through basically an alley around the building in the dark, there was debris everywhere when you walk into the hotel There is a strong odor of mold and mildew when I got up to my room there were only sheets on the bed, one tiny, thin blanket, folded up in the closet, and then some roaches started to crawl around on the floor at that point my daughter was so upset. We had to leave on the way out. We noticed trash and piles in the hallway That had been swept up, but never discarded. We attempted to check back out and asked for a refund and were told that the manager wasn’t there, we’d have to call back tomorrow. I tried to resolve the issue with Priceline, who is absolutely no help as well. The following day the manager was still not there was not able to get a Refund. This hotel was a bait and switch scam. As you can see from my photo Priceline has this hotel listed as four stars. It was a special trip for my daughter to Miami for her first modeling experience and it started off just terribly! I have still not received a refund for the room or the resort fee that I was charged to check in, although I was not able to stay in the room due to the conditions and was told there was no other rooms available. Although Priceline had this hotel listed as a four star and were the ones that took my money for the booking, they would not help refund me in any way and instead offered me 20% coupon on a future booking, as if I would book again with them. This was after I had already had to book another hotel for the same weekend that I had already purchased a two night stay at this hotel for. Customer service was beyond terrible. They’ve outsourced to another country reception is bad and difficult to understand the operators as well as it felt like they had no sympathy for what we were going through overall would never use Priceline again very terrible experience.
