Although our mother had a small estate, we soon realized we were in over our heads. We prayed for God’s direction. Then I did an online search of attorneys working with San Bernardino County. Price Law Firm was listed. After filling out the form, I soon received a phone call. After stating the purpose of needing professional assistance, I was told to expect a phone call from a Price Law Firm representative. Within the hour, Brandie Cooper called. I put my phone on speaker so we could all converse. She quickly put our minds at ease. Throughout this process, which was difficult and emotional for us, Brandie has been helpful, professional, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She answered our questions and relieved our anxieties. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with Sam Price and his firm. My probate case has been open for 7months and I have received minimal communication from the team despite calls and emails. Many emails just go unanswered for weeks at a time despite follow up. I've had 1 maybe 2 calls with Sam the entire time and the rest of the time have had to work with people who are unable to answer my questions and don't seem to know much about the probate process.

Unfortunately it seems that the reviews online are misleading. I thought I was going with a great attorney and thought this would be a short process given how simple our case was and that my sister and I are the only beneficiaries and are agreement in everything.

If you are looking for an efficient probate process, I would not recommend working with Sam / his firm.

I spoke with Sam Price regarding some estate issues my brother and I were concerned about and he explained things very thorough so we understood what needed to be done going forward.. He was very honest and even gave us a referral if we should need one.

The very first court date my attorneys filed the wrong paperwork stating that my father died without a will, which in fact there was and that's why I hired the services.

That very first mistake at the very first court date, immediately put my case into damage mode and back pedaling from the judge. And damaged my case so much that my lawyers had to make an agreement with opposing counsel to pay some of their legal fees.

From then it was downhill, lack of communication, repeated emails of me asking what's going on with my court case. Every month Court was extended, and Mr Price statement was opposing counsel is continuing to alter the agreement extending the court case.

After very little research I have found out that Mr Price lied, He extended my court case without my permission repeatedly because he could not show up due to his short staff.

He took the ability for me to hire another lawyer or get somebody else to show up instead.

My probate has lasted over 2 years and I am still sitting here waiting. My father was not a rich man and the total items on paper was 15.

Mr Price did my case and my family a absolute disservice, and when it was brought to his attention he ghosted me as if there was going to be no retribution to his substandard service.

So all I can do is leave a review honestly of what happened specifically in my case, and then file a complaint with the board, and have to sue my own lawyer.

Do not speak with him on the phone, you get everything in emails, a phone call doesn't create records.

Try to deny it. I have the paperwork.
