I'm very glad that I chose Jamie to represent me during my divorce process. Jamie & Emily did a phenomenal job of responding to my questions, giving me solid advice along the way, and made me feel like I had someone in my corner. I retained Jamie Kerr after my wife had called the police to the house, traumatizing the children. He did not pick up and this was a common pattern. He never did pick up the phone when I called into the office over the course of my very contentious 5 month divorce.

Jamie is no doubt a good attorney, but he very much works for himself and will you tell you so. Be sure that his opinion on your divorce aligns perfectly with yours, because he will ignore your requests if they conflict with what he sees as the path forward.

After 5 months, I asked Jamie to withdraw from my case after it was clear he was creating delays. I received feedback from the opposing party that he was telling them one thing and me something entirely different. He also kept me in the dark on some of the legal language that created unnecessary delays in the process of reaching an out of court settlement with my ex-wifet.

Jamie Kerr cost me a significant amount of equity in the divorce. I sent an email to his inbox with most of these remarks but never did hear back from him.

My advice is that while Jamie is very good up front, you should look around if things seem to be off with communications with him. You're not going to be a perfect match with every attorney and you can switch attorneys if you feel like your attorney is not working for you.

Bill and team really are the best. While my very high-conflict divorce was finalized six years ago, my ex continued to drag us back to court over minutia every year since then; that is when I hired Bill.

I would echo what many have said. They were very nice to deal with. I would also like to echo the review regarding cost. Over the course of my representation, I was billed 4x my original retainer amount. We never went to trial nor stood before any judge. To be fair, I was no charged and rebated a non-insignificant sum on top of what I was billed. There were obviously reasons I was rebated and no charged. I personally feel like I am in no better legal position than I was before retaining them. My experience with this firm has led me to feel that I could have received far better legal outcomes for much less cost.
