The communication was the issue for me and lack of professional council. It took two years for my MSA to be signed by a Judge. Which accumulated arrears in child support. Also the choice of the Mediator during mediation was very lopsided in favor of my ex wife. For example, my request concerning the religious holidays I observed.

Mary is Very knowledgeable and gives good advice but she is not persistent enough and will not go trial on traffic charges.she should let all clients know that beforehand.legal shield retained her services for a u-turn ticket she appealed my case up to another court that cost $200 the prosecution refused to work with us refused to go to trial so I had to spend an additional $800 to hire another attorney that would take my case to trial ,he got the case dismissed before trial because he was persistent and convinced the prosecution to dismiss the case .that’s all I wanted was for her to be more persistent

I could not have asked for a better attorney to help me through a very difficult time. Mary Ann was very professional, and even when faced with utter contempt and incompetence from opposing counsel, never wavered. We ran into frequent issues with my ex-wife’s attorneys, and Mary Ann kept a cool head and handled each challenge with professionalism and grace. She found us an amazing mediator that made the process smooth as butter and got us to an agreement in less time than we had planned, even in the face of difficult circumstances. She kept in constant contact with me, always forwarded me items to/from the court, and kept me more aware of what was going on with my case than my ex-wife’s attorneys did. Her fees were very fair, and we got the process done as fast as we could, given the circumstances. I was never waiting on Mary Ann for anything, and she followed up every time promised. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for assistance with a divorce.
