Be ready for these people to randomly put sanctions on you that you can’t lift because no one wants to lift it or even answer the phone to talk to you about it. If you need help in Ohio good luck but these people are crooks and will screw you over.

My husband I are getting the run around with these guys. We really need help. We signed up for a food stamp card over 2 months ago. We were approved and have yet to get it. I've called and keep getting nearly the same answer. It will come in a few days. I called two days in a row and got a message saying not to leave any messages. I've only left 2 in 2 months. They want my husband volunteer. Hes been doing that. It feels like they're just wanting him to do free work. We just need a little help.

I am highly disappointed in darke county.. I have an emergency question and so I call and I won't hear from them for up to 5 days. This is my health insurance which is bad and they don't care about the people. They are rude when you go in person. We already have enough going on and then get treatment like they give you. They don't know our story .

I've been dealing with Darke County ODJFS for about 8 years now and I've never had anything but the most sincere and courteous treatment by the staff. I'm never there for anything that's necessarily fun for me to have to deal with and the staff are well aware of that but are always professional. I don't live in Darke County and they are always helpful in getting me in to see them as quickly as possible when I am in town.

This place is just totally messed up. My mother is disabled and I am trying to help her get benefits. They have been screwing around with her application for months now and when I call they have no one call back or answer. I have left messages and no one ever has called me back. I give the lowest rating. O stars for them. The need new management or something.

These people are so rude I can't even try to describe. Trying to tell me for one I never came in and applied when SHE was the one who waited on me. Then tells me it's the summertime and things take a while to process, maybe if you do your jobs things would get done around there. They was surely worried about questioning how I provide food for my two babies but not much on their services. Been waiting almost two months for my foodstamps to be reloaded after a month and a half of giving them ALL asked information and being approved. Single mother of two feeding their kids Raman and spaghetti-o'S working my Ass off just to pay bills and a baby sitter to be broke on pay day. HELLO? where is that help that was promised to people in need?!?!?! Pathetic. Hire some new desk people!

Went to turn in some forms around 3:15 and they were closed when they were supposed to close at 4! Just because you don’t have people coming through the door doesn’t mean you can close down early especially when you are an important service!!! Obviously need trained better!!

Really?! Cant even talk to them on the phone get automated voicemail and dont even tell me what my extenstion is?! I HATE going in their office they're rude as hell, especially the ckick in her 20s. That was a long time ago. Zero stars if i could! I hate dealin with them!
