Nick & his team is DESERVING of a 10 ⭐️ ‘s along with a standing ovation! I unfortunately selected the epitome of hack job contractors to extend my garage & driveway. After multiple interactions without resolution from the city & contractor I went on the search for someone to help! After multiple attorney interviews & getting the run around that I know nothing about construction being that I’m a female 🙄. Nicholas Weiss accepted my case based on numerous Ohio Consumer Sales Practice Act violations, breach of contract, negligence, construction flaws and unjust enrichment.
Rachel Kuhn, who was said to represent me, negatively impacted my case as she did not capitalize on any of said violations after she agreed my 2 yr. old patio was “unsalvageable”. I’m now left with a replacement deficit of over $46,000 on a patio initially costing $15,075, due to lack of representation, communication, undisclosed and exorbitant fees.

Rachel quickly relinquished $20,000 of our demand at mediation, wrote an incorrect case narrative and appeared to have lost track of evidence. I was not prepared by my counsel for my deposition facing three qualified attorneys, as my counsel sat there quietly, not objecting to irrelevant questions and false accusations by the defense. Rachel could not provide evidence the defense demanded adding further embarrassment and ultimately leaving me discredited.
We were sorely outdone by the defense as they owned the Weiss office that day and this is where my case unknowingly ended for me.

Rachel Kuhn demonstrated incompetence, no fight, bark or bite and appears to not know the words “I object” but does appear to understand “lay down” and “roll over” by the opposing law firm as she renounced her position by falsely accusing me, along with the defense, of upgrading pavers in my replacement bid and now disputes and made useless, a $3500 expert witness report that she initially agreed with. The conclusion of said report, in part states…….
“Furthermore, the construction defects and deficiencies are of such an extensive and substantial nature that the sole feasible remedy is the complete removal and replacement of the entire work, to fully comply with normal prevailing standards and practices of the residential construction industry”.

Rachel’s dispute of said expert report now states “there is no proof you are taking water into the basement”, “this could have been fixed with a couple of pavers” and “they can rebut our experts report” later advising I should not pursue this case in court and accept the lesser standing offer or face dismissal.

Rachel Kuhn’s handling of my case left me feeling betrayed, abandoned and with a great distrust for attorneys.
