I would love to say that Norm is attentive, knowledgeable, and represents his clients well. Unfortunately, in my case, he was anything but.

In over a year of working out a contentious divorce, I can't point to a single shred of useful legal information or strategy that he offered to help resolve the divorce. My choice to retain him cost me at least $250,000 and perhaps more.

To say that I'm disappointed in the utter lack of utility that he provided at least describes the general direction of the complete and utter failure of legal guidance that he provided.

He's a nice guy. Relaxed, peaceful. Great personality characteristics for a yoga coach or a boy scout master perhaps.

Terrible in a divorce lawyer. Retain him if you don't really need to deal with any contention; just paperwork or something.

I called Norman Ryker to get an answer about a simple question on a divorce. Both the other attorneys I called first would not talk to me without 300.00 charge. Mr. Ryker not only answered my one question but he educated me all about the terminology, t heasked more questions about my case.

. He asked me for no money and he even told me if any more questions call him and he would answer. He charges 200 an hour for his time, which is reasonable and most of all he really cares ab out people that cannot afford much. I would say he is one to go to for his knowledge AND his kindness, which is not a common thing!

made an appointment 6 weeks in advance and the day of the appointment i received a call two hours prior and was told there was a conflict of interest. At the time i made the appointment questions were asked and the office confirmed there was no conflict of interest. Most unprofessional and they had 6 weeks to inform us that the appointment had a conflict of interest. In the balance is a 5 year old who was taking from the environment she loved and prospered from. Now this child is with a person who has had many issues regarding stability. This child is heartbroken and does not understand why she was removed from her comfort and love of so many people. A very unprofessional law office and i would stay clear of such a lawyer who would informed me many weeks ago. If i could rate zero stars i would

I am Active Duty military stationed outside of the state of California and needed legal assistance with the custody of my children. Mr . Ryker was very patient with explaining all of his answers to my queations. Mr.Ryker and his staff are truly dedicated to their customers and I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a lawyer in the area. If there was a way to give more then 5 stars I would. You won’t be disappointed.

He sided with my ex's lawyer on everything. He told me to just go along with whatever they wanted. I'm pretty sure he was good friends with my ex's lawyer. I realized later that he had over charged me on phone calls. I ended up firing him before i went broke!!
