Staff was friendly. Went in because dmv said I owed, transaction was quick and easy. The decorations were awesome as well, felt warm and welcoming. They stated by the time I got back to dmv they’d have the taxes cleared... that was a lie. Disappointed I missed an entire day of work because they told me they’d have it cleared and then I get to dmv and they opened a new tax ticket with a zero balance preventing me from registering a new vehicle and now I have to miss another day.

Naugatuck tax collector office was an aweful experience and waste of time . They are little to no help in the office and can’t answer simple questions asked about taxes . They will just sent to to ask the tax assessors office who will send you right back to the collectors , who will then send you to state Marshall’s office .
