BE WARNED> GEICO has NAM in their pocket. IF YOU ARE ARBITRATING AGAINST GEICO STAY AWAY !! I was in total shock during my arbitration hearing as I watched the so called "neutral" that NAM calls their arbitrator, totally leading and propping up the GEICO attorney who was so totally unprepared and clueless. TOTAL SHOCK.

I assumed and expected that an arbitrator's job is to UMPIRE .....but instead, I watched in in dismay as the NAM arbitrator did everything he could to COACH and assist the clueless and disorganized GEICO Attorney during my hearing. WOW, unbelievable. When the NAM arbitrator does everything to prop up and assist the unprepared and clueless GEICO defense attorney, it becomes obvious why GEICO is so happy to direct these arbitrations towards NAM. Amazing !!

Although the fee that NAM charged was fair and reasonable for the volume of material submitted and their time billed, I knew after watching what had occurred during my arbitration hearing that I was not going to get actual value of my case, and the NAM arbitrator was doing his best to assist GEICO's defense attorney. Sure enough, the decision came back and exactly as I suspected, I received only half of the true value of my case. Not surprising after what I witnessed.

The NAM "neutral" arbitrator was not an UMPIRE during my hearing......he was the COACH for GEICO's goofy and unprepared and disorganized attorney. That tells you that GEICO has NAM in their pocket.

I have had two awful experiences with NAM when GEICO is the carrier. There is a special "GEICO approved" list of arbitrators. Read between the lines. After the arbitration, they increase the cost of the arbitration with additional costs to the plaintiff. I am trying to determine if GEICO is also assessed with those costs or if the costs are just lumped onto the plaintiff's bill.

Nice office, lots of parking space. Private meeting rooms for the parties, snack and coffee. The judge was tuned into the facts of the case and handled the negotiations very proffesional. Although this case wasnt resolved, I highly recommend the services of this office.
