I booked a rug-making class at MyTuftedRugs for my husband and nephew’s 14th birthday celebration, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The owner Rashad was beyond helpful—he worked with me to plan the surprise and made sure everything went smoothly. His instruction on tufting was clear, hands-on, and super engaging, making it easy for both beginners and creative minds to enjoy the process.

I had so much fun today making my rug under Rashad’s guidance! He is a fantastic teacher. Patient, explains things well, and is attentive! He helped me accomplish my crazy idea and it looks amazing! I can’t wait to get it in a few weeks once it’s finished. I cannot more highly recommend!

I attended the Express Rug Tufting Workshop today and was extremely pleased with the experience. It had the perfect amount of instruction and assistance from start to finish; introduction/how to, practice, and guidance when creating my rug. The owner was friendly, helpful, and patient - the perfect teacher! I learned a lot, and had the best time. So pleased with what I was able to create on my first try. This is the perfect activity for anybody who wants to try something crafty and different. Highly recommend!

My bestie and I did the introduction to rug tufting workshop. Rashad is the owner operator and a terrific teacher! We were able to do a lot with our time and materials and are so pleased with our outcomes. I totally recommend adding on an extra hour or two to reduce time crunch and get more instruction, it’s totally worth it! I also purchased a tufting kit to take home as I’ve been wanting to get into this hobby. The package is incredibly fairly priced and includes a handmade tufting frame by Rashad. Drive a bigger car if you want that deal 😅… I will definitely be back for open tufting time and more skilled classes in the future!

One last bit- Rashad has incredible rugs made by himself. He does custom rugs to order, so if you want to burn a few hundred bucks on a rug reach out to him instead of Lowe’s or wherever. Shop small, shop local, shop artists!

This was an amazing experience and we definitely want to go back and learn even more! Would absolutely recommend to anyone to try this out, we had so much fun. Not only do you get personal one on one direction, assistance, and help, but it's an incredibly welcoming and friendly environment. The owner was overly kind and accommodating and was even nice enough to work with us when my job interfered with our initial booking and several other snafus occurred. I've honestly never felt more welcome at another small establishment. Go now before this small locally owned business blows up from everyone wanting to make their own really awesome custom rugs from such a cool person. I freaking love mine!
