I have it in writing (email) that I would receive a refund from the trustee if voluntarily dismissed my case but after I did exactly that they refuse to give me my refund that the trustee had returned. All of this came after paying for a chapter 7 and being lied to so I would switch to a chapter 13 so they could make more money. Please go to a different lawyer, these people will mislead and deceive you so they can take maximum profits. They should be ashamed of how they conduct business. I'm currently filing a complaint with the state bar.

#1 You absolutely did NOT reduce any fee, as a matter of fact you raised the fee dramatically after you had misinformed me about filing chapter 7 after I had already paid for it.

#2 You specifically told me that I would get a refund from the trustee after my case was dismissed and then you decided to keep my refund as if it was yours.

You are an extremely unethical person. You've lied to me repeatedly and I am currently filing a complaint with the state bar. You should be ashamed of the way you conduct your business but I'm sure you aren't.
