I cannot speak highly enough of Martin Minnella and the unparalleled skill he demonstrated in handling my case. To provide some context, I was facing my fourth drug charge with a record spanning over 30 years, including past convictions for drug sales and a violation of the CORA act. I was arrested with 180 grams of cocaine and was initially offered a plea deal of 10 years, suspended after 5 to serve with 5 years probation, it was an “Accept or Reject” offer which means "take it or leave it" and go to trial. If I go to trial, I would face the terrifying possibility of a 30-year sentence. Both the prosecution and the judge were unyielding.
That’s when Martin Minnella entered the picture—a seasoned and legendary attorney, known for being the only lawyer in the U.S. to have beaten five murder charges in a row. I was so desperate trying to find an amazing attorney. I called a list of attorneys and this firm was the only one who got back to me punctually and late on a Sunday night. You're better off with a public defender. He is or was friends with the DA and they must give each other wins because I've never met anyone with 20 years probation and years in prison on a somewhat simple case. Even overheard him telling the guards how he hates working for people like me. Go elsewhere. You've been warned
