Would post zero stars if possible, the only thing about this office that we appreciated were the ladies who worked the front. They were kind and compassionate. Once we interacted with Mr. Millonig directly it went downhill instantly. He was incredibly rude to my parents and their needs. A few years ago they had a will drawn up using an online service, and had it looked over and notarized. He barely flipped through it, tried to tell them it wasn’t signed (it was) and that it was basically worthless without even reading over it. My mother is unable to speak and relies on her phone to type to communicate, and I explained to the staff and Mr. Millonig that she is completely competent but needs to have time to think and type out a response and that will take time and patience. Mr. Millonig instantly talked down to her and rushed her by asking her multiple questions without giving her time to type an answer. He took no time whatsoever to understand her situation and disability, and made her increasingly anxious and uncomfortable. Mid way through the meeting my mother became incredibly upset and hurt by Mr. Millonig’s curt, rude, and dismissive attitude and walked out of the meeting in tears. My father, who can get confused when faced with lots of different questions and scenarios (because he’s a senior), was being bombarded by Mr. Millonig, and was obviously getting confused and frustrated. We finally decided to leave after expressing to Mr. Millonig SEVERAL times that he needed to slow down and more patient. I asked his office staff to please talk to him and explain that his attitude was making my parents uncomfortable, which unfortunately none of them did. If anything they looked terrified at the request. Mr. Millonig never once apologized for his approach or for being rude. He never slowed down to accommodate my mother’s disability, nor apologize for not taking her disability into consideration. The last of our interaction with him was him gruffly walking down the hall and telling us to pay the fee at the front desk. There was never a raised word from us, just requests for him to be more considerate and patient, so the fact that he didn’t make any effort and just walked away from us in a huff is incredibly unprofessional. We then had to go to the front desk with my mother in tears and pay $225 for being insulted for 25 minutes. For being someone who specializes in elder law, he is NOT senior friendly, NOT disability friendly, and definitely not someone we will be working with again. We have our entire interaction with him recorded (with his permission) and at the beginning when we mentioned making a recording for future reference we were told by him “You could do that, or you could just pay attention the first time.” We should have ended our time with him right then. Find someone else for sure!
