tax collectors cashed post dated check after I physically told her in person. they overdrew me and dont care. they are liars and cheaters. it's amazing to witness the change in attitude when they find out you have a balance. these people should not serve the public.

Not much parking avaiable, available, reaso. I go there is to pay my property taxes I would pay on line, but the city charges you a fee .so to save mailing with a stamp,I rather go pay in person.it is out of my way but,you have to do what you have to do to save money these days, nothings free.abd it's worst when you become a senior citizen.

I was going to stop by this town, After looking around online I realized this place has a terrible police department. Allen Ganter should be in prison. I wont be spending any money here.

Let me start with the useless atm machine in front of tax office. Only 200 dollars? Really? Most tax payments far exceed that. However I will say that SOME of the ladies working said office are very kind and understanding .

This Review is Valid During Pandemic Restrictions. I was able to take the elevator from the ground floor to the 1st Floor by myself. I encourage Meriden City Hall to post signage indicating single occupant use only during Covid 19 Restrictions. The City Clerks Office is Closed to Entry. You press a door bell to announce yourself and are encouraged to wait for someone to get to you. Dealt with my business with masks on both of us and left. Smart, very smart and safe. Good job, Meriden City Hall. Making elevator use single occupant only will go a long way to promote further safety.

Lady with the glasses and tattoo on her forearm in the tax collectors office is the rudest and most unhappy person we have ever dealt with. Cutting us off in the middle of our questions.
